  1. Cheater!! LOL That's 11... See? Not easy is it?
  2. No seriously - If I could only choose 10, IDK - I would probably pick 2 from every catergory Spa, Fruity, Bakery Floral Earthy For me it would be impossible to do.
  3. I can crochet, but I've tried to teach myself to knit. LOL yeah, didn't work so well. I can do a basic knit stitch for wash cloths but that's about it...
  4. I used to be in my kitchen also, but we finished the basement about 4.5 years ago, and trust me, I'm still "working out the kinks" LOL I need a space twice as big and like Steve, I have resolved this time THIS TIME - to not purchase anything else (unless it's an ABSOLUTE necessity) until the majority of my supplies are used up. My main problem is what's taking up most of the room is my wax, which I won't buy because I have to much, my molds, tools, equipment. My actual ingredients to make the product takes up the least amount of room. (except the FO of course, but that's in it's own floor to ceiling, 3ft wide cupboard - LOL and yes, it's FULL to the brim, but it is it's own space!)
  5. Meant to add - you probably get "who are you reselling for" all the time with those OUTSTANDING professional looking labels. Man, I love them. Very nice!
  6. now I'm embarrassed for posting mine!! Those are GORGEOUS!! Yes, dust off those molds and start up again!
  7. Yeah, I saw that one, but it's too far away. Frisco is a 2 hour drive for me. I have the GE Turkey Roaster that Candybee posted about. It works great to melt wax, but there is no pour spout so you have to scoop the wax out. :-/ Now that I am searching right on ebay I'm finding them.
  8. LOL yeah, as soon as I typed that I realized my mistake. SMH - I promise I'm smarter than I appear sometimes!! HAHA
  9. These are old pics and it's hard to see the texture, but here are a couple more.
  10. Thank you!! Not sure why I couldn't find anything!! Only the bread maker looking ones were coming up for me. As I said above ebay drives me nuts so I don't search there very often... Thanks again!
  11. Apparently not the right way!! LOL I'm put in Masterbuilt turk n surf - IDK I hate ebay!! Probably why I'm having problems... haha
  12. Make new ones!!! and yes, even with the label I'd like to see them! I love looking at pics of others' creations. It inspires me. ETA: I'm looking for some of my feather palm pillars I made. I know I have pictures, just not sure where they are. LOL
  13. It's fine here Not sure what's going on with yours.
  14. It enlarges some, and I can get a better look at them. I like them. They look nice in those holders.
  15. When I was at the IGCA convention back in 2005 I posed this question to the gel makers teaching a gel candle making class and they told me that it lasts "FOREVER". So, I'd say it's probably still good to use. However they did say if it goes through extreme temp fluctuations it could become cloudy... I've only worked with gel a couple of times, so I am by no means an expert. Gel was just too hard to work with, and if you think finding skin safe scents for soaping and B&B items is tricky - it's worse with finding gel safe scents due to the polarity. HTH
  16. I still have this one on display and I can still smell the scent (barely there, but it is still there slightly) It's really scratched up though. When I get home, maybe I'll take a current pic and post them side by side... Candybee - now show yours!
  17. LOL Steve - my first question was going to be "how much for your extra one?!?" haha... Okay, actually I was planning on just going ahead and getting the Cajun one anyway, but still keeping my eye out for a Masterbuilt. I will keep receipt and warranty and if it goes out within too soon of a time, I will send it back (hopefully) Thank you for the advice and knowledge.
  18. I have done palm pillars in the past. Not recently but was planning it in the next week or so. Let me see if I can dig up any pictures of my palm pillars...
  19. I've searched ebay, craigslist, etsy - just about anywhere I can think of and I can't seem to find one. Oh well. I'll keep looking. No immediate hurry for it, so...
  20. I have made them but then quickly stopped - ONLY because I don't take baths, I only shower. I mean I could take a bath I guess, but for me it's just not comfortable or relaxing like it is for many people, so it was hard to test them. And if I couldn't test them, there was no sense for me to make them. However, I ALWAYS get asked about them. Give them a go! They are very popular.
  21. I will post some this weekend. I can take pics of the ones I made Labor Day weekend, I just have to wait to have time and lighting.
  22. One thing not addressed is how you dress also. Personally I think dressing up just a bit works wonders, Not business formal or anything, but something nicer than faded blue jeans and a t-shirt. (Unless your t-shirt has your logo, then I think it's okay) but I always seem to do better if I'm wearing darker jeans or slacks and a nice blouse. And as many have mentioned. Be approachable, welcoming, greet your customers, smile and engage in conversation. Don't be pushy, but do be available. That is probably the best advice I can give...
