Looks great, I've always wondered how you make straight even layers.

I've used FCO, SAO, AKO, and Sunflower oil with shea.

I have no idea what hypnotic poison FO smells like but I luv the colors and those swirls.

I don't really care for patchouli either but it smells better then i thought-not bad at all, the strawberry mar. definetely dominates the patch. though. The smell is similar to smell at the Hot Topic store at the mall, lol.

This is the rebatch I did using over a cup of water, lol-suprisingly it's hardening up slowly, still quite soft but not mushy. Scented strawberry margarita and patchouli-I used cinnamon for the color (don't ask me how i ended up with two different colors) i know, i know the colors do not match the scent, lol. This baby came from a 3lb batch using 5 oz of FO-smells nice to me, not strong (yanno me and my broken sniffer....) I colored it using sage, the swirl is kind of an olive color. Since I am using way to much FO due to my sniffage problems I was running low so this is scented with monkey farts, coconut lime verbana(sp?), and pears & berries-don't ask me how or why but it actually smells good!

ok i feel a little more "normal", lol. Most of them have been fruity FO's-coconut included. I only did the 2oz per lb just on one batch-mostly out of aggrevation-cuz you're right that is too expensive dammit!

Holy crap, my nose must not be working- I made a 3lb batch yesterday and used 5 oz of FO and I can barely smell it.:undecided Annie I've been using FO from Millcreek.

question is, how much is too much? I've cp'd using 1 oz per lb, but the scent just isn't strong enough for me. I've also tried 2oz per lb and was much happier with the results-I've used it and was great but i' just wondering if u use too much FO could it cause irritation?

I use cinnamon all the time and I get nice brown soap.
