  1. It is the same place ! They had alot of great FO's - very complex in quality . . . Gonna send them an email
  2. :yay:do you have a web addy for them ?? ETS: followed your link - Thanks !! I'll contact them to inquire . . I appreciate it so much
  3. I can't remember I did a quick search but nothing came up . . (I coulda used the wrong url, tho)
  4. I am looking for anything remotely close to the White Ice they carried. There are others I wish I could find but White Ice is to die for. I remember they merged with another company but cannot remember the name. Even if I had a contact number that would be helpful.
  5. Alabaster closed their KY location a few months back . .
  6. What are your thoughts on using a plastic lid with a liner on candle jars? I have found a nice combo but not sure about using them since they are plastic. Anyone doing this ? Any opinions ?
  7. Hey Dana . . naming it Pumpkin Cream Latte YES !! I am having a blast . .I have also blended NG's Spiced Cranberry with Keystones Orange Clove. Not sure what I am going to name it yet (???)
  8. Not sure who to personally thank for the idea but I am ever so gracious for all the posts on blending fo's ! I have blended TCS - Pumpkin Souffle, Berts - Cappuccino Hazelnut with a splash of NG's Red Hot Cinnamon and OMG . . it is drool worthy Less than 24 hours cure in J223/464 (50/50) and it ROCKIN' !!!!
  9. Ditto . . .am hoping the next 2 Saturday shows will make up for it ! People are buying but with smaller orders
  10. Thought I would add - it has a 143 MP similar to 6228, if that helps with suggestions
  11. Got a new 6x4 (3) wick pillar mold and I'm going to play today What wicks should I tempt first using KY 143 pillar/votive wax? (Not the KY parasoy) Unfortunately I don't have any flat braid kind yet, but I do have HTP, CD, zinc, and cotton.
  12. Very Vanilla from CS is very good, but I am loving JS Ultimate Vanilla at the moment
  13. At Wix End has an awesome Eucalyptus & Spearmint. I love it but it didn't sell well for me
  14. I have an order ready to be placed but I really wanted to test these before ordering a bunch. Being a new OBI customer I was unaware of the $100.00 minimum and I cringe at not being satisfied once Mr UPS delivers them to me. I am curious how they compare to Levine's. I really like those . .
  15. Love my check out thru Graceful Hosting ! It has many options and is included in with the hosting price. Customers can set up an account, view previous purchases, make a wish list, and has many options for payments and real time shipping. On my old HTML coded site I used the free version of mals-e for years and hated it. It was limited on the options for the customers. When I was with D218 I upgraded to the premium version which did offer more features but I didn't feel the cost justified what I was getting since it was in addition to the hosting fee. I did have more options but still didn't have some of the features that I was looking for. Plus with mals-e premium the only trouble shooting or customer service was thru the forum so you needed to hope someone would reply to your questions.
  16. I'd wick down. When I get mushrooms it usually means I have over wicked. I use a parasoy wax though, not your wax.
  17. I have one and it works great. I do comparison tests with all my thermometers to assure they all read the same. With the infrared I usually stir then check the temp.
  18. I agree that D218 is awesome but in all honesty I despise mals-e shopping cart In order to plug in real time shipping you must upgrade to the premium account, making the overall cost increase. Therefore, I highly recommend Graceful Hosting. I love the shopping cart and CS is unbeatable. Yes, as most know there were glitches the beginning of the year but all that has been resolved and the customer service is back on track
  19. Awesome !!! Thanks for posting your results !! I had used Joy Wax back in the day, until "something" changed with the formula which forced me to move on. Glad the wax is performing well again.
  20. I don't use 415 with the 223 but rather 464, and make a 50/50 blend. I pour cooler around 145* and get great adhesion without warming the jars. In my salsa jars I use a 51z for most oils or a 60z for heavier oils. With zinc, yes shrooms are there for me but not overly large and the burn is clean. I think a 62z is rather large for that diameter of jar, but as I said above I don't use 415 which has a bit higher MP than the 464.
  21. No throw in 2 weeks ???? hmmmm . . my supplier said to wait 5-7 days but if I don't get a good throw in 3 days, I'll move on.
  22. Good luck !! Post your results . . .I'll update my burn results once I begin testing. Not sure I can wait 5-7 days Scentlady . .did you use the wax for anything other than bears? If so, how long did you wait to cure? I know it's soy so longer is better, I'm just impatient . .
  23. I used 8% FO load and didn't add any additives other than color
  24. I have poured testers with this wax and the CT is great. I only had a small batch and I poured a few votives, tarts and a couple clamshells then used the rest in a 3 wick mold. I haven't lit them yet for HT my supplier told me to wait 5-7 days (not sure I can wait that long - lol). I would think using it for bears would work (personally haven't tried it, tho). I'm not sure I have enough info yet to give more details, hopefully someone else will chime in for you =)
