Common Scents

The gardenia is great! One of my best sellers this time of year! Very strong!

I don't use soy so I really can't help but I use Just Scent's Apple Pie and get incredible hot & cold throw with it. I'm sure someone on here can help you with that! If those don't work for you try Peaks Apple Pie. I was using it until I switched to JS and its really good! HTH!

Peaks is a best seller for me in the fall!

Right now I have 40 total. I keep about 25-30 year round and then I change out the others for fall & spring. My fall scents come out August 1 and my spring scents come out January 1. I started out with 30 total and have worked my way up. I am always adding new scents though so my number will go way up! LOL! I have made a promise to myself that I will not have more than 75 scents at one time!!! And usually when I add a new scent, I take one away that hasn't been selling well. HTH!

I just added Caramel Cinnamon Latte to my line and at my craft show last weekend it was the best seller! Thats the only one from your list that I've tried so I can't help with the rest! But you wont be disappointed with the CCL!!

I use Country Blueberry from Cierra Candles and LOVE it! It sells really well for me too! HTH!

Well I'm back! It was a really good show. Kinda slow in sales though. Only did 2x the booth fee. But I was impressed with the crowd turn out and got invited to 2 other shows. Had a lot of people take brochures & ask about the website so we shall see. Best seller of the day was Caramel Cinnamon Latte...I sold out and had one lady say she was going to place an order for it online! LOL! The other top sellers are: Lavender, Cozy Vanilla, Warm Apple Cobbler, & Lilac. Well thats my report! Next show is at the end of April so I have plenty of time to stock up!

Hey everyone...I'm here in Harrisonburg for my first show of the year tomorrow! I've never done this show so we shall see how it goes! Its supposed to be cold & rainy tomorrow...great craft show weather!!! So cross your fingers for me! I'll report back tomorrow!!! NITE!!

That would be JS for me. Excellent customer service, great selection, great quality oils and fast shipping. I too buy from several different suppliers but I have been working on narrowing it down and now pretty much have it to JS & Peaks with a few exceptions. Thats a tough decision to make!

March is actually my slowest month. January & February have been slow but steady but March has been DEAD!! I have a show on Saturday so hopefully things will pick up. I'm trying to be more aggressive with my marketing as well so we shall see. Things will pick back up for me in April with a HUGE outdoor show that I do and then I have at least one show a month for the rest of the year so things probably won't be slow for me again until after Christmas! Hang in there...once spring gets here people usually start buying again.

Regular tarts for me too! I don't know why either! Tarts are pretty big around here and when I tried to switch over to clamshells the people around here just couldn't grasp the concept. SO I will be bringing back my original tarts in the next two weeks.

OMG!!! That is terrible!!! I would do what Synascents said. After you call her, I would send a follow up letter that is notarized & send it certified so you have some written proof too. Hopefully she will stop but man, that is ridiculous! I would definately mention in your convo & letter that this is defamation and that you could take legal action!!!

I am burning Chai Tea right now and everyone here in my office really likes this scent. It is very light so I think I may have increase the amount of FO. I use paraffin but I don't think you would have a problem with soy!

I LOVE the free samples from Beckie!!! I ordered a sampler I guess last week when they were on sale (yea just what I need...some more JS samples laying around to test!) so I got my sampler, my three freebies and then they threw in a few more so I ended up with like 18 samples! LOL! And its not just the freebies, Beckie is ALWAYS looking out for us....like if you order one FO, she will throw a sample of another in there that you might like. I just ordered a lb of the Caramel Cinnamon Latte because I had got a sample, tried it, everyone in my office LOVED it, so now I'm gonna carry it! So anyway, they by far have the best customer service around IMO. I have ALMOST completely switched all my scents over to her. There are still a few I get from Peaks but I'm sure it will only be a matter of time before I am all Beckie.

I was using Alabaster's but switched to Just Scent. I think both are great!

Just reserved my room! Unfortunately the special rate for the conference was all booked up so I had pay $20 extra a nite BUT I've got my reservation so all I have to do now is register!!!

Thanks Tess! I wasn't in that co-op but I do get my bags from Uline. I use their green plastic bags. I was considering changing to the cubs just because they hold up so much better than those plastic ones. I'm gonna do some shoppin around!

Tess where do you get your custom bags from? I've seen a few places that do them. I am about to run out of my plain green bags PLUS I changed my logo look to a different color so I'm gonna be needing some soon! Good suggestion! You so smart...hahaha
