I started with MP, but got bored quickly although it is fun to do. But Cp is very fun too. Read the miller site front to back. I learned a ton off that site. After a couple batches you really get the hang of it. I dont think CP has to be expensive. My first and still favorite recipe has just coconut oil, palm oil and olive oil and lye obviously. I tyr really expensive oils, but still think the simpler is my favorite bar yet.
To those that make bath salts, would this basically be the same thing as making a foot soak. I kind of thought it would be cool to make a sea salt soak for our whirlpool spa chair. The company I buy our soak from is rediculous in cost so maybe this would be any option. Does the sea salt actually dissolve? How do you add color, but without staining the tub?
I have been looking for them too. I have looked at Michaels as well and no go. Your best bet is going to be online and even then, I dont know where to get them.
Looks through soapersupplies, if you inquire about it, they will do another pre-buy. that may be an option. I am just whipping up a small batch of the manoi butter now, not that you can smell it, but I will post a pic soon.
Looks like soapers supplies has about the best price. Yes, you need to get the scented. I am going to make a big jar of manoi body butter today, just so I can smell like it.
Thats the first thing I checked for in that co-op. Of all the oils they carry, you would thing that would be one of them. I just know its really expensive.
I got mine at oregon Trails. I wouldnt know bad rom good quality, so i hope mine is good. i just know it smells great. If I were to put it in soap with no fo, what would be my % so the scent does come through?
OMG, I LOVE this stuff. Someone needs to do a co-op for this stuff. Its hard to smell the fo over the scent of it, but it is such a great scent. Just thought if anyone was contemplating this stuff, get it. It rocks.
My opinion of a lightbox is you use it to take a pic of an object and it will give you a crisp clean look to the pic. You dont have any objects in the backround taking away from the photo. It almost gives the illusion that the object is just floating and not sitting on anything. With mine it has a lot of shadow, because I dont have adequate lighting by the box. Still looking for lights for that.
