    I have been looking though what seems like a million sites for a soap mold to make lotion bars. I have seen the bars put into a tin when fisinshed and really like that look, but the molds seem to be 5-6oz bars which is bigger than what I want, so my question is, where do those that make these get your molds?

    When I go with my son hunting, we only use a scent eliminator which doesnt smell like anything. You would only use the doe estrus during the almighty rut, and then we only put it on the bottom of our boots. But during the season, we have special laundry detergent for our camo, then, they have to be stored on a huge plastic bag. The only think about using a hunter soap, is that I dont know anyone who actually goes and takes a shower before they go hunting, so I guess making a soap would be pointless at out house anyway. But first thing, when I get home, in the shower I go.

    I know, but since the manoi is so expensive, I dont want to waste it.

    Getting ready to make a bunch of body butters and I finally broke down and bought some manoi da tahiti and would like to incorporate it somewhere. The recipe has 25% RBO or olive oil. Can I just replace like 5%of that with the manoi?

    I just got a recipe from an email from Brambleberry for Anise soap for hunters. Does anyone make a hunters soap and have you had any feedback whether it works or not? Does Anise stink?

    Ok, sorry to nit pick, but using bleach is not sterilizing. With bleach you are just sanitizing. To sterilize something, an autoclave must be used. Sterilizing is unessesary usually unless in the medical field.(just the nail tech in me coming out) Just wanted to clarify the difference.

    I had read that somewhere, but I cant get any text on the pic without having a white box with it.

    I have used cornstarch in the past until I got some Dryflo. Once I learned to do emulsified butters, I probably wont go back to whipped for that reason.

    Are you talking about flood lights or regular bulbs, or maybe there isnt a difference. Oh, wow, I am totally flattered. That just made my day!!! Thank you!

    I have mineral makeup "foundation" and it comes off with soap and water.

    http://www.marykay.com/color/eyes/highlighters/10882800/default.aspx Its a really soft vanilla color with some shimmer to it. I use it all over the lid and part of the brow area and then just use a dark color for the crease. BTW, I have my eye on a couple of the darker colors.

    That must be a way better model than mine. It takes terrible pics, unless its the operator. I could never get any good pics at my sons baseball games this summer. Once I would try to take the pic, he would be half way to the next base before it would flash. It takes terrible night pis too. Someday I hope I can splurge on a really nice Nikon

    Those colors rock! If you could come up with a color dupe like Mary Kay's "Crystalline" I 'd be ordering very soon. Do they stay on well?

    They look great! Do mineral shadows flake at all? My eyes are getting so sensitive in my old age of 36 and everything feels like its in my eyes.

    I got the flash off although I dont know how I did it. Its a Kodak Easyshare C743. It did make a difference, but I still need to get more lighting. G.A, or anyone, do you know what wattage of bulbs is needed for those floodlights?

    I will try that. My lights I was using just didnt have enough surround lighting.I will have to try some of those floodlight type things. As far as the flash, hmmm I dont think I even know how to turn it off:o

    I made a lightbox that was so easy to make, I just need to tweek the lighting, I dont have enough. I wish I could have made the box smaller too. This will do since I am very small time and my camera sucks. (I never claimed to have any photography skills:undecided ) Anyway, these products are for my autumn swap(spoiler I know)

    I am so excited to go buy some stuff to make a homemade light box tonight, but I see pics all the time when people put their name or the scent or whatever on the pic and it looks so classy. How do I add my own name?

    Oh now I have to make one. It looks so simple and what a difference the pic makes.
