  1. So basically, Scented, if you get lucky this weekend, then Hunter's moon is a keeper?????? Please keep us updated. I will be waiting with baited breath! Did you smell that Canyon de Chelly at the conf? Yummmmm! Okay...so I don't make stuff out of it, but the cologne Lagerfeld just totally takes me back to the 80s. I was 16, Rat was playing on the cassette player and David M. (my first BF) gave me my first hickey in his car at the local "park and smooch." He BATHED in that crap! Every time I pass by someone wearing it I swear I can hear "Round and Round" playing in my head. Admittedly, it makes me want to perm my hair, put on blue eyeshadow, wear leg warmers and go make out in a camero! How is that for a journey back in time? Wonder what ever happened to good ole David???
  2. Sigh...and to think I can say "I knew her when...." I am so super excited for you!!! I am SO curious to see if it picks business up for ya!
  3. KYs is the best I have found...I use 100% soy and it I have to back down on the fragrance load.
  4. Daystar's Cayon de chelly is just like a sexy dude in a bottle to me!
  5. Of course it is! What WAS I thinking???????? A 1000 pardons. (Okay, Scented, let's just let Kimberly keep thinking that...we know the real story!) :highfive:
  6. Very Tuscany...classy! Looks GREAT!!! Man, I wish I liked wine. (Sorry, for a minute I almost believed that!)
  7. WOW....I need to come back here more often! Simply beautiful! And I have one of your plumeria candles on my nightstand...I smell it even when it is unlit...love it! And it is okay...I know you are in a funk because you miss me. Come on...you can admit it...it is all about missing the tall, obnoxious gal you met in Texas.
  8. Isn't that a log home way in the back on the first one? Or am I seeing things?
  9. That story simply STILL floors me, Kimberly. Seriously and utterly FLOORS me. It is just the epitome of unprofessional, imo. Every single supplier I have out there has some oils that work for me and some that don't. If someone asks me for my opinion, I give it. NEVER have I ever been "reprimanded" by a supplier for doing so.
  10. Oh wow!!!!! Those are GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay...I am going to have to get that oil. Wish I had at the TCC!
  11. I like the first one, too. The second has too much in it, if that makes sense. it is like..."BOOM...house in your face".
  12. I use 415 and have found more don't throw than do for me. I will say that she as always been super sweet to me and her customer service is awesome. I have a few from her that throw well and are great sellers. They are: Mojito Buttermint totally Scrumptious Mamma's Blueberry Cobbler I have the Caramel Cinn Late that I am PRAYING will work...I simply love it! But there are some that for the life of me I could not get to throw even though some using the same wax raved about them. One is the butter cream crunch...just could NOT get a good throw from that one. I went through a pound testing it thinking it was me and just finally gave up. Of the ones you mentioned, I can tell you about these: Grapefruit Mint Rhapsody (to me smells nothing like grapefruit and mint..did not even try it in wax) Pink Bombshell (no throw but beautiful in lotion) Santirini (very faint throw) The only other thing is now I feel a little overwhelmed when I go to her site...there are SOOOO many oils that I get a little lost.
  13. Something my husband said to me that has really stuck in my head is "Don't offer a lot of half ass products, offer a few amazing ones." Not saying that any of yours are half ass at all! He has a degree in business marketing/management and has some pretty darn good ideas from time to time. If it were me (and I know everyone is totally different, so take it with a grain of salt) I would start with a LOT of a small line of stuff. Then gradually add on products, see how they do. If they fly out, great. If they fizzle...drop them. Another thing, in my opinion, is having too many products can be somewhat confusing and overwhelming to the customers.
  14. Oh, and did she ever actually list a radio station? If so, let them know as well....email the general manager and explain how she is misrepresenting them as well. Tsk Tsk Tsk....maybe some more fines?
  15. I would love someone to respond with "How ironic...your coning me and others just got YOU routed to the FBI." It is called internet fraud and it IS a federal offence, Miss Suzie Peck. And every single one of you should report it to the FBI. They have teamed up with the Dept of Justice and the Natl White Collar Crime center. Send them everything you have...if you don't know how to get the IP addresses off of an email address, google it and figure it out...pretty easy. List the IP address and forward the emails. If enough people do it, it will trigger a huge red flag. Calling the locals may get some results, but this, again, is a FEDERAL crime because it crossed state lines. Here is where you can report her butt: http://www.ic3.gov/ Carolyn, since you are OWNER of the board she is totally misrepresenting, you should especially say something. Also, if her state has an Attorney General's State office, I would send the info to them as well...might as well hit her from all sides, huh? And I hope she is reading this AND shaking in her shoes...as well she should. She is liable to get hit with TONS of fines...kinda makes me smile just thinking about it.
  16. Just wanted to let you know I tried to smell the CE BKisses...but there were not any in stock. I will keep my "nose" on the lookout.
  17. At shows and stores I have 10, 16 and 24oz apoth jars. The 16oz blows all the others out of the water. It is by far my best seller.
  18. I just got a sniffy from BCN of the BNL version. It is beautiful but in reading Circle e's description, I am not sure it is on target. I go to a store often that carries Circle E...I will see if I can sniff and compare for you.
  19. Just off the top of my head and thinking of what I have, BNL's olive blossom comes to mind. It is such a BEAUTIFUL and sophisticated scent. It is not super overpowering, either. Some of those florals get hung in your throat they are so strong.
  20. I thought for sure I read that someone said Lone Star's Dickens Christmas is great in soy??? I could not find it in a post, though. Anyone??? I have been trying to find a replacement for my holiday splendor and I am beginning to think I am too picky. The DC seems pretty close. As a side note, the Dickens Christmas always reminds me of this HYSTERICAL comedy routine about Dickens Cider. Here is the link (http://users.ixpres.com/~txcowboy/dickenscider.mp3). Warning, though...do NOT listen to it if you are easily offended. It is puuuuuuurty crass. I am thinking it might be too much for Kimberly and Scented. (yeah, that even made ME laugh!!!)
  21. I just got one off of ebay that is really nice and the price was perfect. The seller's name is gabriellesshoppe. Of course my husband saw it and said "I could have made you one of those!" Yes, he could have...the question was WHEN he would have made it.
  22. Not quite the same situation, but I bought 1000 wicks from them quite a while back and the wicks were coming out of the tabs right and left. (I use silicone) I am used to being able to give my wicks a very gentle tug after pouring and while centering, and they just kept coming out...no matter how gentle I was. I went back to my old supplier learning that cheaper is not always better.
  23. I am a sucker for anything mint...and it is actually very pretty to boot! I cannot wait to see it after it is cut!
