Dallas would definitely be a great place to commune...SOOOO many supply places around the area (Don't forget Just By Nature, too). We could find a hotel with a bit more room...Embassy Suites has the separate living room with lots of space for demos and making stuff! Throw in free drinks and breakfast and you have a deal! If my hubby's promises hold true, I SHOULD have a suburban by then and I can haul everyone around to all the supply shops! It will be like a wine tour...only with candle stuff (and I am sure wine will find its way in there somehow...lol).

Simmer down gals...the colonel and I had been planning on swapping products for a while, and so she generously gave me a lot of goodies for my ONE candle I gave her...lol! I definitely came out ahead!

Another vote for CDs. I have used cottons, LX, HTP, RRD and eco and just keep coming back to the CDs.

Hmmmm...I don't know yet. To be quite honest, I did not even look in the rubbermaid tote yet. Staying up till 3:30 am and then getting up at 9am pooped me out. (Although my evening was not quite as "exciting" as yours!) I just went home and dumped everything in my candle room and vegged (Read: fell asleep sitting up!). I am not at home right now, so I will have to check out all I walked away with. All I know is that it is MUCH heavier putting it BACK in my car than it was when I unloaded it. I cannot get over the amount of goodies I have!! Between the swap bag, the "speaking" gift, the goodie bag, the door prize and all of the stuff that you gals gave me, I am set! I won't have to buy soaps and potions for a year! OHHHHH...and I got Scented's gift in the White Elephant exchange!!! Some BEAUTIFUL pillar candles, incense and...COOKIES!!!!!!!!!! (You are still not gettin em!) I am planning on lighting the pillars tonight, taking a bath with Kimberly's bath fizz, use Anita's shave soap, Kimberly's conditioner, one of the bazillion bars of soap I received from one of you lovely ladies, and finish it off with Colonel Sander's body cream when I get out. Then I might have a cookie...or ten.

Oh crimony., I almost inhaled a piece of cantaloupe on that one. I should not read and eat at the same time!! I would have died...no one is here to give me the Heimlich. Smart...my hernia is a bit better, but I still don't understand how I can come there with a whole bucket of stuff to give away, and end up with more than I started out with!!!

Did y'all know that Brat can paint anything? Seriously, anything. At the flea market, I am thinking, "Look at all the junk" and she is saying "WOW! This is amazing! I can paint that...and that...and that!" She has the most incredible artisitc streak!

I am tired but it was worth it!! Brat and I got to my house about 4pm and her hubby picked her up. And yes, we had to stop back by the flea market. They sold my rain barrel but Brat got her bowling balls! I will be sitting here doing something and then just freaking start laughing out loud thinking of something that happened this past weekend...I cannot remembering laughing that much in a loooooong time.

I actually just put some on!!! I love it! And yes, dog gonnit, now I am pursuing the bath and body boards because of all the cool things I saw this weekend at the ole Comfort Inn!

I am with Kimberly...that silly ole Pussy Cat may have gotten into your supplies. Meeeeeow! For the record, I was the lucky recipient of one of these, and it smells wonderful!!!

You and I are SO going use the book in the car. It's four freaking hours...we might run outta stuff to talk about (although given our visits on the phone, I don't think so! )

OOOOOhhhhhhhh...guess what I found today! The Big Book of If. It would be a blast to sit around at night (after I screw up some soap ) and get to know each other with this. Just examples: If you could relive one romantic date from high school, which would it be? If you could do any job in the world for one day, what would it be? If you could completely redecorate any room in your house at someone else's expense, what room would you choose? If you were to carry with you at all times a plaster cast of one part of your lover's face or body, what part would it be? (I am totally laughing my butt off!!) Fun? Leave it home? Bring it?

I found my beaters. They were in, um, the drawer. Gee...the last place I thought to look! I will bring mine, too. It cannot hurt to have more than one.

I will look for mine today...the last time I went to use it, I could not find the beaters, just the mixer. Between the two of us, Bunny, we would have a whole unit! I will look...don't plan on buying one just yet.

I am getting excited, but cannot believe it crept up so fast! I still have too much to do. My snacky food is not going to be homemade. Lump it of leave it. I am thinking of the good ole trusty spinach dip. I guess it is homemade if you count me mixing all the ingredients in the bowl...lol. And I have a very important announcement to make. Are you sitting down? I finished my elephant gift!

*sniff* I cannot believe I am going to have so many people helping me. I am touched! Seriously, what an opportunity to learn the craft from the masters. I am a little wary of my business account, though...I have a feeling adding soaps to my list of fun things to do is going to break me! I cannot just "dabble" in something...lol.

I am all for baptism by fire! I just don't want anyone to think they can count on me for learning anything. I am good for party tricks, though. I can do this really weird thing with my tongue and in college I used to be able to put my fist in my mouth. Yeah, I was surprisingly popular with the dudes.

Mine is "other". I usually try and have at least one of each size (three) on the display shelf, and lots more of my most popular scents. It is usually pretty much wall-to-wall candles in my booth. Then I keep extras behind my shelves (there is storage under them) and under the tables in boxes. As they buy, I try and replinish the empty spots on the shelves. Then, on my check out booth, I keep one lit.

Ummmm... do you know that I have never made a bar of soap in my entire life? I would not know a swirl from a squirrel. I would love to learn how, but if you are counting on my for "how to do it", I got nuttin. I will, however, stand there dutifully and hand you supplies and soak in everything you are showing me.
