  1. That's got lemonhead written all over it. Very nice.
  2. Broccoli cheese soup! Making a big ole pot of it today. Chilly fall is here big time. I also have a new scent to test out. Gonna stare are some lotion tubes and wonder what I can concoct.
  3. Great reminder. I'm off to fire up the scanner.
  4. Count me in too. I'm in NW Indiana. On top of it all, the town that the craft show is in is one of the places on the disaster areas hit last week with horrible flooding. You might of saw it on the weather channel last Thursday. Some people had 5+ feet of water in their homes. I'm not kidding! I know one kid's car from work floated away. People should be in great spirits from cleaning out their sewage infested basements to pop right down and buy candles. :undecided Won't hurt to advertise I guess.
  5. Have not sold at one, but I did attend one this year in Valparaiso, IN. I saw 2 candle vendors there among a sea of mass-produced T-shirts, socks, home interior, imported trinkets, tools and flea market type items. The place was one big cluster f#*% of people. I had to get out of there it was so crowded. Before I left, I did almost get in a tussle with the nice lady selling 100% natural candles. I said, Oh...so all of your candles are soy and made with EOs ? She replied with an enthusiastic, YES!...all my candles are 100% natural. I said, well, that's funny because I never knew there was a Lovespell, or Downey Fresh EO. She looked me right in the eye and said, yes mam...I work with one of the top chemists in the country. I forced myself to just walk away without incident.
  6. If those soaps were in my stash, they'd be the first ones I'd grab. Very nice!
  7. So does that mean: If the house is a Rockin, don't bother knockin?
  8. I LOVE a good hardware store going out of business. Kitchen supply stores are a weakness of mine too.
  9. I have no idea how to infuse herbs successfully, but I can tell you what NOT to do. One time I put a couple fresh sprigs of rosemary in a bottle of olive oil to use for cooking, and after a few days, it had that gross white fuzzy mold all over it. I also have a lavender plant that didn't get "accidentally" run over with the lawn mower this year and I'm wondering what to do with it also.
  10. I've ordered some of these in a different size and they are soft. http://papermart.com/templates/83-0-15.htm If your looking for the hard plastic ones, try US Box. They may have them.
  11. These two struck me funny as I was reading them. I couldn't help but think: The Rhythm Method (ok...this one is silly) or Splendor in the Wax
  12. I'd tell her, "Hey, at Burger King, their chicken sandwich dosen't taste like their Whopper either!" She's trying to compare apples to oranges. And what I'd say next time she wants credit...."Who do I look like, First National Bank?" :tiptoe:
  13. Those have got me hypnotized all right. Can't keep my eyes off of them.
  14. Your soap looks good to me! I just picked up some of the grapefruit watermelon. It's very addicting. How'd it behave?
  15. I can help you if you are using avery design pro. PM me if you want.
  16. The only thing worse than Lilac I can think of is Gardenia. I have a ton of packaging ahead of me this week, getting ready for a 3 day fest next weekend. I do this to myself all the time...putting off the labeling up until the end. Not gonna be fun. Have a great weekend everyone.
  17. awwwww c'mon cut it! Looks great in the mold.
  18. I've used the Asiatic Lily in J223 and it is really nice.
