Try pumpkin coffee from candle cocoon. I added this to my seasonal scents this year and just did a craft show this weekend, and this was one of my biggest sellers. It works well in a soy blend. The pumpkin and coffee are well balanced, with a just a slight hint (not much) of spice thrown in. OOB it's kind of stanky, but once in wax it's really yummy. This one is definately a keeper for me.

I experimented with my 1343 on making the forever pillars. I love the way these came out, but now I need to work on raising the meltpoint on my wax. I want to keep the rustic look, and was wondering if I can achieve the same rustic look using 1260? If not, would another wax be better to try? Thanks

My mom sews and made mine for me. Here is a suggestion or two. Choose your material that is wrinkle resistant. It may cost you a little more, but it's worth it. Don't go with 100% cotton. You'll be glad you did after doing a couple of shows in a row. If you fold the table covering neatly after use, you won't need to iron it. Remember to make a slit (opening) in one of the long ends to access your stuff under the table. She also sewed an extra pocket on the underneath bottom front hem that I insert a large dowl rod into. This gives the shirt enough weight that it hangs really nice to the floor and it prevents the shirt from blowing and flying all over the place when it's windy.

I'm making gift packs up for Christmas containing a candle, body spray, and lotion all done in one scent. Maybe even soap too if I can get my butt in gear. I need ideas of scents that will be great in both wax (I use a 70/30 soy blend) and B&B. So far I'm thinking of Pure Seduction, and Peaks Black Raspberry Vanilla. Need more ideas for both men and women. What scents both rock in candles and B&B?

Very cool top on the Appletini! What color were you going for on the pure seduction? You're high....lol...I think it's perfect! I've been wanting to soap this one and am wondering how it behaved on ya? Looks like it gave you some time to play. BTW, did you get yours from MMS?

I used the 4x4 ones with the hole in the top to hang them. It gave me a little extra room to do a narrow label across the top without covering up any of the melt. Plus you could get them out of the bag a bit easier without smearing them all up.

I used to use the crystal clear labels from Online labels and loved the way they came out on my laser printer. They were waterproof and the color was great. and didn't smear at all. The only thing that I hated was that they frequently jammed up in the printer and was a pain in the a$$ to get them out. I bought another printer thinking it was just the printer that was the problem, but my new printer chewed up the labels even worse than the first one did. I talked with the tech at the printer place, ( I have an Oki c5500) and he told me my printer was not compatable with clear labels. The diffuser gets way too hot, and melts the labels onto it, sticking and jamming the lables up in the printer. So I said the heck with it, and changed my labels to the regular white glossy and these are working good for me. I know some people are able to use the clear glossy with their laser printers without any problems, but for me, it was a no go.

Spiced cranberry is really nice.

I use the 1343, but mix a little container wax in. Play with your percentages until you find the best that works for you.

You should be very proud! I can see why you're having trouble keeping things stocked. There's no way I could walk out of there empty handed.

I poured some in a soy blend container a few weeks ago and burned it the other day. I was really pleased with the scent. It didn't have that overpowering earthy smell to it. The orange balanced great with it, and it smelled even better the more it burned. I didn't detect any fuel at all with the orange. I had to wick up a couple, but it burned great. I'm keeping this one.

Seriously. Look those peeps straight in the eye and tell them you put your soaps on the Adkins diet. 30% bacon grease baby! Plump full of trans fats.

You can try different things to stick your wicks down, but if you for sure want them to stay put till the next millenium, glue those suckers down with clear silicone. You can get it most anywhere, hardware stores, walmart. You just need a little dab, but make sure you let it dry overnight or else it will come up too. I used to use the hot temp glue gun, but was still getting the floating wicks every now & then. It's a pain after you get all the wax in the jar and the dang wick floats up. Silicone saved my sanity.
