  1. Love love love the bottom one. Good to see you playing with wax again.
  2. Ha haha...thats crazy. How would they send these, by Limosine??? Votive cups, ridin' in style!
  3. Candlewic has a pretty good price. Not sure about the shipping part of it though.
  4. Thanks for the help. Will get samples from both places and give it a test. This is going into candles. I'll let you know which worked best.
  5. Try opening it first with a program ( I use my picture MGI photo suite) then re-save it as a JPEG image and put it somewhere where you can find it. I always have to convert the file into a JPEG first before avery can recognize it. Give it a whirl.
  6. Looking for a really great one. I've searched old threads and see that some folks were getting this from IFT a few years back. But...I don't want 10 or 25 pounds. I see that Save on Scents carries this now. Has anyone tried it from there? Is there a true dupe out there anywhere from someplace? Thanks
  7. Those look great. You shouldn't have a problem using straight 1260 with the heat. Using the plastic tealight cups will help too because they don't tend to get as hot as the metal ones.
  8. I soaped the nag from Tony's a couple years ago. I still have some and it's still stickin.
  9. Looking for a dupe. I found a few fruit smoothies on fragranceoilfinder, but none said if they were the yankme dupe. I believe this yankme scent is retired. Fruit Smoothie: A creamy vanilla treat blended with the sweet scent of kiwi, strawberry, melon, and peach. Anyone have a clue on where to find this? I have Peaks fruit slices, but this is not it. Thanks.
  10. You've totally gone over to the dark side haven't you? Do you even make candles anymore? Those are gorgeous. You're a swirlin'fool.
  11. Thanks BubbleBath!!! I found it. I'm guessing I was able to do it. It made the background a checkerboard pattern (transparent). I'll fiddle around with it, and make sure I can paste it in something and not have the white background.
  12. I have a logo, but need to make the background invisible. Anyone know of a free program that can do this? Thanks
  13. Try cooling your candles very slowly. The slower the better. See if you can get 6 or 8 candles close together. Not touching each other, but close together. But a box over the top and let them do their thing. I'm no scientist, but my guess is that they might be cooling too quickly causing the wax to shrink. We all get some wet spots, so don't sweat it if it's only here and there.
  14. Oh I've been duped a time or two with those David Beckham types. Just run the other way.
  15. What a good problem to have. They love your candles!! Concentrate: Cha-ching$$$ Cha-ching$$$ Cha-ching$$$ Way to go.
  16. Love the top one. Whatever you're doing, keep doin it.
  17. Other than asking her if she looked in the mirror lately...lol..?? One thought is to try a black background and see how that looks. I've also downloaded a 30 day trial of adobe elements and that gave me some fiddle around time in order to determine if I needed a college education to use it. I think you can buy this for around $80 if you like it. It has the feature where you can change your background to whatever color you want. I don't have a web address for the free trial, but it may be on the adobe site.
  18. Your site is awesome! One little boo-boo. Revitalize. Way to go on teaching yourself flash. You really did a nice job.
  19. It won't work I've spent the last month working on this and tried the exact same thing. The best thing I've come up with is a blend of the two. Experiment with your ratios on combining the two waxes until you get an effect you're happy with. Be sure and splash the wax in the mold real good. I also am using 4 T. stearic pp of wax. Your everlasting pillar will still be at a higher melt point than straight 1343, and take the heat much better from the tealight. I haven't done any rustic layering, (I've been doing 1 color rustics) but the way the wax is acting, I would imagine you will have to pour your 2nd & 3rd layers sooner than usual if you want the layers to have that "blended" look rather than clean looking layers.
  20. I got some here, and they work well with the plugs. http://www.cudge.net/tea_light_holders.html
  21. Hey! I see Captain Stuebing. Ok, maybe that was in Scented's soap. Nice rustics. You got me in the mood now, I'm waiting on wax.
