  1. I think that's the sweetest bunny I've seen. The face has this cartoon story book appearance to it that caught my eye. Very nice job on the dipping.
  2. GOO GONE!!!!! Is the BOMB! As soon as you spray it on the dye spot, it immediately starts to drip off your skin. Excellent, Excellent Product!
  3. 190-200 and poke relief holes as this wax does have air poickets, then do your second pour.
  4. We usually use the same jar we sell but with only half the amount of wax as not to waste it if it doesn't burn properly.
  5. Hey Tom...nice to see you again. I remember you from some time ago posting your website. Your candles still look fabulous!
  6. I have customers that ask if they can bring back the tealight cups and refill them. I ask them if they go to the nearest pharmacy and ask only for the toothpaste, but not the tube, because they don't want to pay for the packaging again! I like the customers that whisper in my ear "you're gonna give me a deal right, plus give me a tax break?" My suppliers don't give me a deal and the Government surely doesn't give me a tax break. When they throw a curve ball my way about one of the big companies offering a bigger jar for less, I look them in the eye and say "WOW...that's a great deal, you should be buying their candles instead of wasting your time here"! People like that are more of a problem in the long run than a benefit to your business.
  7. I have used the 4630 in the past and it will perform well with most oils I tested. Nice thing about this wax is the 10% f/o load capacity and a smooth appearance. If your looking for bakery types, Just Scent has some great strong throwers in this wax. Cinnamon Toast, Hot Fudge Brownie, Hot Cocoa, Ultimate Vanilla, Cranberry Orange Spice, Crisp Green Apple. Candle Cocoon...Sultry Angel BCN...(BNL) Olive Blossom, Persimmon Spice Have no idea with Berts, but I'm sure others that have experience with their oils that can chime in and help you. Peaks has some great oils also. ICS has a great Cinnamon Bun Hope I could help you with a few.
  8. You haven't really given us much information on the type of wax you're using whether it be paraffin, soy or palm. Are you using these oils for pillars or jars. Every oil works differently in every wax. Every member has their personal favs., for their particular application. The better way to post your question is to let us know what wax you're applying these oils to and what f/o's you have in mind to start out with.
  9. In the 10 years I've been working with soy, I've never had to temper, re-temper, adjust my work shop temperature, put candles in boxes, heating glassware, don't breathe on my candles, etc., If I had to go through that, I'd quit the business and buy them.
  10. NO!!! Unless you cook the crap out of it and burn off all the properties.
  11. Don't dollar stores carry those also. Just make sure that there's no hole in the bottom as some of the buck shops carry those types.
  12. Not a stupid question as some would probably do it both ways. I would just put the wick in before pouring like I would the other method with a steel votive cup.
  13. Good Question??? What is the USA used for anyway? Forget this post. Just read another post from Stella in regard to the USA.
  14. Glad you mentioned that as I was wondering about a couple of those. Thanks!
  15. Has anybody tried their Cappuccino Hazelnut? If so, how does it perform in soy? TIA
  16. Those are really pretty...perfect for summer.
  17. You create the most beautiful soap I've ever seen and your website is fabulous. My hat is off to you!
  18. I think you have a good thing going. Trust your gut. What woman wouldn't buy a candle when looking in a pool and spa establishment. Heck...I even check them out at Home Depot. :rolleyes2
  19. It is a very pretty candle. Why don't you try making one in beeswax and see what happens. Sometimes a different wax may help with sales.
  20. Very nice pillars but I have to say the crackles really caught my eye. Beautiful job.
  21. Hi Donna, If you don't mind me asking, what cinn. bun oil as they list a "classic", "Snowtop" & just a regular one. The caramel nut clusters, cranberry orange spice, carmelized pralines and green apple are really good.
  22. The Sultry Angel is incredible but I have to say...I can't sell it if my life depended on it. Everybody that smells it, turns their nose up. Have no idea why, but I like it.
  23. Just Scent has that oil but it's called Sandcastles.
  24. OMG!!! If you haven't sniffed this fragrance from Pier 1 yet, you gotta make a trip and do it. I am not a Rose fan whatsoever, but this fragrance is so clean and fresh that I WANT IT, I WANT IT, I WANT IT!!!!! Would love to have this in a candle fragrance oil. Sure hope some manufacturer decides to dupe it quick.
