  1. I noticed ICS is having free shipping on Lebermuth oils. Does anyone have any reviews on some of these (in soy)? I've never used them, and was just looking for some good ones to maybe try out. I did a search, but didn't find too much; you can scold me if necessary. Thanks!! Susan
  2. I haven't tried KY's Coconut Cream Pie, but NG's Coconut Cream Pie is pretty good.
  3. JS Asian Spice is nice.
  4. I just saw where Snowtop is offering a 25lb price break on FOs. I don't think I'll ever need that much, but I can hope!!
  5. I'll 2nd the Pumpkin Crunch Cake from NG. Very sweet, and an awesome throw.
  6. I've used KY's Peppermint, and it stays white.
  7. Speaking of mysteriously getting kicked off the newsletter list, did anyone get a newsletter this weekend?
  8. I must've missed this...what happened???
  9. The only one of these I've tried is the Lavender Bergamot, and I thought it had a very light hot throw (in soy).
  10. Snowtop's Baby Hugs is very nice.
  11. I really like ICS' strawberry cream. I've read a lot of good things about JS Strawberry Jam, but haven't tried it yet.
  12. I haven't tried too many of the ones you have listed, but Cherish and Mimosa Mandarin smell great and throw great in soy.
  13. Just wondering if anyone has tried this and what your thoughts are on it....I'm not a huge apple scent fan, but I have a few customers who love different apple scents, so not sure what to think about this one. Let me know if you've tried this one....thanks!!!
  14. No one has tried this???
  15. It definitely smells weird, and it doesn't smell better once it's in wax. I'm not sure how 1 person can have it and like it and it not smell bad, and another person's is a different color and it totally doesn't smell like BC. One of those mysteries of the universe I guess! I'm glad to know, though, that I'm not the only one that thinks there's something wrong with it.
  16. My 1st bottle sounds like it's the same color as yours. Oh well. I guess it's just my nose. I'll continue my search for the perfect BC!
  17. Anyone buy ICS' Buttercream lately? I purchased a bottle back in Feb, and it was very dark in color and didn't smell at all like BC. In fact it smelled pretty bad. I emailed them and she said it should be yellowish in color and she would send me another bottle with my next order. Well I just placed another order last week and this one is light in color, but it pretty much smells the same as the 1st bottle, which is nothing like BC. I did pour a candle with it, but it still doesn't smell anything like BC if you ask me. Just wondering if anyone uses ICS' BC and what your thoughts are on it. It's not possible that I got 2 different bottles, which are different colors, but don't smell quite right. Or is it? Let me know if anyone uses this and what you think it smells like. Thanks!!
  18. Just curious if anyone has tried JS Burgundia and if they had to wick up a lot. I'm using soy, and I've had to wick up a lot from from what I normally use (for a 9oz hex). I only had up to CD14 and ECO14, so tried HTP126 and HTP1212 and those were too small also. I've got a HTP1312 burning in it now, and it seems to be doing OK. Just seems really big for a 9oz hex! I'm going to pour another one and see how it goes. If anyone has tried Burgundia, I'd love to know what you thought of it! I normally go for the bakery/food type scents, but I really like this one.
  19. The Pumpkin Cheesecake is awesome in soy. That's the only one I've tried from there.
  20. I am having trouble deciding on what size label to use for the 4oz hex jar. Just wondering what everyone else does for labels for the 4oz hex jars. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
  21. Another vote for ICS Ocean Mist!
  22. I like both BCN and ICS Cranberry Spice. And NG has an awesome Pumpkin Crunch Cake.
  23. And I thought that the 20 samples I ordered was bad! I can't imagine 70 samples! Well, I can imagine it, but I would be in a lot of trouble if I had that many show up! I placed my order yesterday morning, and FedEx delivered it today! I couldn't believe it! I can't wait to start pouring these!
  24. I have tested Joy Wax in the past, and really liked it, but it's not the wax I currently use. You can get some really good colors, no frosting, and it sets up very smooth (why aren't I using this wax, you ask? Good question!! ) I got a lot of sooting with LX and RRD wicks, and I have never had good luck with zincs. I tested it with ECO, HTP, and CD and had good luck with all of them. You can wick down at least 1 size in comparison to 100% soy, at least that was my experience with it. I have emailed NG in the past to find out how much paraffin was in it, and I think the response I got back was that they didn't know, but it was a primarily soy wax. Whatever that means. If anyone knows what all is in Joy Wax, I'd love to know. This is all just my opinion....I've only been doing candles for about a year, so take it for what it's worth - not a whole heck of a lot! Happy testing!!
