  2. I just done a co op for citric acid about a month ago. It was $1.45 per pound for the co op, that included shipping to me. It might be cheaper to you though, they are in PA. This is where I got it from: http://shop.candlesandsupplies.com/candles/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=Candles&category%5Fname=&product%5Fid=CITRIC&cookie%5Ftest=1
  3. That is called Fruit Fresh isn't it? It's been a while since I seen that.
  4. OMG!! That Vanilla is wonderful, good job!!!
  5. Both are fabulous, but I have to agree, my fav is the bottom one.
  6. Electric I will not use a tealight burner again. I had one that I used for myself. The tealights were store bought. I don't know what happened, but the thing caught on fire, where the tealight goes. It popped real loud, and I thought what the heck, and I went to look, and it was on fire. Just luckily, I was close enough to hear it. So no more for me, it may have been the tealight it's self, but I'll pass.
  7. Someone had asked me if I could do a Clove soap for them. So, the Clove I had wasn't soap safe. I was at Creative Candle Supply the other day, and their Clove is Safe, so I got a bottle. I mixed up my recipe as always. I have gotten into the habit of adding my FO to the warm oils, because I sometimes forget to add them. Anyway, I did all that, and added my lye water. YIKES! That took off like a rocket. I mix and mix, and mix, and it's getting thicker by the minute. It then started what I call "ricing" really bad, while it was thick. I gave up and dumped it into the mold, and tried to smooth it out. That was a lost cause. I got it smoothed out the best I could, and had a little bit left over so stuck that bit in another small mold. I get the bright idea to dump the small portion into the bowl and warm it. When I went to dump it into the bowl, it was a liquid, with the top the same as it was when I put it in the mold. I then let it sit in the bowl and warm, and stirred, it was looking good, so I put it back into the mold. I kind of felt the top of the larger mold, and it too had turned from rock hard to a liquid. It almost acts as if it is gelling, which it may be. I started to wash up the bowl I had used to remelt, and I had suds like you wouldn't believe just from a tad bit that was still in the bowl. I never have suds like that when I wash up the bowl after pouring. And this was just 10 minutes after putting it in the mold. I know one thing..no more Clove soap for me. That was a nightmare!!
  8. That is so pretty. Sorry, don't have a suggetion on a name.
  9. Looks good. It must be the nature of the beast. I use Lilac from Heartfelt, and it traces extremely fast too.
  10. I think they turned out very nice, too bad you have to redo them.
  11. Gosh, those are pretty too. Gorgeous!
  12. Wow!! I love those. Nicely done.
  13. All of them look very nice, it's hard to pick a favorite.
  14. I don't use Fed-EX much, and forgot about them delivering on Saturdays. I placed an order with Just Scent today, and it's to be delivered tomorrow. I ordered the Yuzu and Cherry Slushie that was on sale. Anyone have any experience with either of these? At that price, I figured heck with the samples. has anyone tried the Satsuma? I started to order it today, but decide to wait.
  15. lol ME TOO!!! I am just in my kitchen. Oh, and my dining room, and the hall way that's off the kitchen going to the laundry. Oh, and the full size walk in basement.
  16. Yeah, I thought I might share one with her after they cure. If I don't forget :rolleyes2 lol
  17. I use the EZPour too. I was getting it from KH before they sold to Keystone. I now get it at Creative Candle Supply, no shipping.
  18. Sue Ann, how does it do in soap, or have you tried soaping it? I use another sassafras, and can't keep soap made with it. But if I can get it from there, it would be another I can save shipping on. I have this one guy and his wife, that buy 6-8 bars at a time just of Sassafras. I didn't get to go down there yesterday, after hearing about the shooting in the area Sunday night, thought I'd wait. I think I'm going to run down today, hubby is off work, and needing to go on in to Charleston. Thank you all for your nice comments. They turned out okay, but I need to use a different size box to get the size bars I want. I guess I'm too used to my log mold, but wanted to work on my swirls some. I usually do in the pot for my logs.
  19. I bought mine from King House, before they sold out. I haven't gotten a replacement from Keystone yet. It's suppose to be the same formula. It's skin safe.
  20. It's from Creative Candle Supply. I'm going down there later today to get some wax, and (shhhhh) some more scents. My favorite scent used to be Love Spell, til I tried CLV.
