  1. That is so pretty. I like the way it is layered.
  2. I made this last night too. I got the bright idea to use a box instead of my log mold. I was just playing with the swirls. I was planning to "dust" the top with gold mica, well.... I "dropped" more than a dusting. Anyway, I love this scent, the bars are a bit bigger than my usual, so I may have to keep these for me.
  3. I made this at midnight last night. I had to cut the end to see what was inside. It is still too soft to cut though.
  4. I did too at first. Nice soaps.
  5. I've ordered several times without a problem. I usually have my order in a few days.
  6. http://cgi.ebay.com/HUGE-LOT-OF-CANDLE-SUPPLIES-WAX-MELTER-SOY-WAX-OIL_W0QQitemZ320013883269QQihZ011QQcategoryZ3089QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem These must be something new on the market. I do need to keep up with the new trends. 1 BRAND NEW WAX HERMOMETER!! 1 6" TALL TRINAGLE MOLD!! 1 METAL VORIVE MOLD WITH WICK PIN!!
  7. Another supplier to try is NG. They call their version Butterfly Hugs. I had gotten a sample of BK a while back from a local small supplier. It smells good, but I don't have a clue what the Circle E smells like. I haven't put it into anothing though yet.
  8. okay, I have another dumb question. I was looking at dc's sugar scrub pics this morning. Why does yours look different? Yours seem like a cream/lotion mixture, and she was saying her's was oily. It looks very nice by the way. I haven't seen a sugar/salt scrub, so I wouldn't know if one hit me. But after looking at the pic this morning, I'm intriqued (sp). I've seen people posting about scrubs before, but never was interested in them (probably cuz I have too much other stuff going on).
  9. I have never used the one you did, I too would suggest cutting back first. I use Heartfelt's Spiced Oranges, and don't have a fuel smell. I can't seem to find a straight lemon that doesn't have the fuel smell.
  10. Thank you for your answers, I'm going to have to research this more.
  11. I've never seen a sugar scrub in person, but am curious. If these are dumb questions please look over me..lol When you make this, does the sugar disolve, or do you still have the grains? When you use it, is it a sticky substance, or incorporated into the other ingredients? And lastly, is it used as an exfoliant, what does it do to the skin? Oh, and forgot to add, from all I know (which isn't a H*** of alot from all the questions), it looks good.
  12. Yvonne for some reason that link won't work for me. I found this site, is it the same one? http://www.soapsupplies.net/home.html Forgot to add also, I use a tsp of TD per pound of oils to my soap.
  13. I think they look great! And, I know what you can do with the burgandy one (second from the right)..send it to me..would go perfect in my living room. I love these types of candle, but can't get the nerve up to try it.
  14. Thank you all for the nice comments. I guess I just expect too much..lol I'm not thrilled with them. My Spiced oranges turned a dark tan (so far), my Storm Watch, I got too much black mixed up. The last time I made it, I somehow used Blue UM, and Black and got a gray, with black swirls, but I couldn't remember exactly what I did. The Peony and the Sinus Relief didn't turn out too bad. The Honeydew was a little lighter than I wanted.
  15. One word..yuck!! But ya know the sad thing is, those would probably sell like crazy.
  16. Just some soap I worked on yesterday. First pic is Storm Watch on the left, and Peony on the right. Second pic is Sinus Relief of the left, and Spiced Oranges on the right. Third pic is Honeydew Melon. The coloring is too light for it to pick up in the pic.
  17. Wow, those are pretty. I've got to get a wavy cutter.
  18. They look great, I too like the looks of the first one.
  19. This is like the one I have. I got mine from someone in the classifieds. http://www.herbalsoapsbyrj.com/category/TOOLS.php?CID=14
  20. Me too, except I hammer mine about 6 or 7, maybe 9 or 10 ( ) times. They are nice and solid when I get done with them. And usually do not have any "left overs". I do have a small meatballer, and have made a few with it, but the tablets are so easy to do.
