  1. I like this scent too, and it done great for me in wax, but when I soaped it, it smelled like paint to me.
  2. I get mine at Lowe's and it is the Roebic in the yellow & red can that says Heavy duty on it. It is 100% sodium Hydroxide. Just ignore me...I just now seen the post above that showed the can.
  3. Actually the shipping from Columbus Foods wasn't bad at all for me. I was like you I thought it would be crazy. If you go in and add something to the shopping cart, it will pull up a place that you can calculate shipping. They are extremely fast on shipping too. They have the smaller quantities too, although a little higher, I haven't found them cheaper anywhere I have looked.
  4. That's neat looking. Yea I was wondering about the trace thickness part too. I figured it would have to be on the thicker side.
  5. Has anyone ever (not sure it's even possible) seperated a batch of soap into 2 seperate bowls, color each one and pour them both at the same time into the mold? I was wondering what the "swirl" or color effect would be. I wondered if it would mix to some ungodly color or if it would actually turn out neat. I'm sure it would probably take 2 people to do it at the same time, unless some one other than me is that coordinated. It was just a thought.
  6. WOW! Both are great, but I really like that confetti.
  7. The only thing I have used from them was the Stargazer Lily. It was a dead on dupe of Yankme.
  8. Oh I can see it now. Very pretty, I too can't wait to see it cut.

  17. Has anyone bought anything from either of these places, www.nyahbeauty.com www.Bathbodysupply.com? If so, how is the customer service?
  18. I have a friend that goes through candles made in this oil like crazy. I have thought of CPing it, but was afraid it would turn brown. But I see yours has turned out great.
  19. I have never tried the ICS Hawaiian Ginger, but I have it from somewhere else and love it. My fave from ICS is Japanese Plum.
  20. In the soap swap, I got her Grapefruit Crush, and it is wonderful. If you like Citrusy scents try that one..yum! It's an eye opener.
  21. I have had people ask me that very question. I in turn just say I get them at alot of places. I'm sorry, I'm not giving up anything. I had a person I work with one time ask me my method, what jars, wax, scent, wick, coloring the whole bit. She told me her granddaughter in another state wanted to get into it to open a shop. I simply said, tell her to start researching, that's what I did. Well, if looks could kill, I'd have been dead many times. She replies, (with a snotty attitude) well, she is in another state, and it wouldn't hurt you to tell her what you do, it isn't like she would be competing with you. I in turn said, "like I said, tell her to do some research". Another co worker once asked me where I got my scents from. Again, (my famous line) I get them all over the place. A few weeks later, her DIL was selling candles...imagine that.
