    Lotion or cream needs to cool off completely before you put the lids on. If any condensation occurs on the lid there is no preservative in it. If any drops fall on the lotion, it will contaminate it.

    My tins discolored the product and the top brim got brown. It could have been rust. I threw them away.

    I presumed you used brand new containers? I agree, preservatives do have an expiration date.

    I think if you try matte white with the light box, you will be able to see the details of your products better.

    I use SFIC bases except SFIC Low Sweat bases. I live in the desert with no humidity, so moisture is not a problem. The low sweat sets up too fast for me and I don't care for the skin feel.

    Since we superfat, it should be ok. What worries me if there is another oil in there that someone might be allergic to.
