  1. I've never done that, but I know a lot of people here have - hopefully someone else will chime in with some other suggestions or tips for you. Congrats on your baby and welcome!
  2. I have a lot...well, not tons, but around 10 lbs or so that I might be able to sell someone to get you through until the next co-op I was thinking of putting up an ad in the classys but never got around to it. but PM me if you're interested :highfive:
  3. Hmm...Peak is the only one I know in CO - rats....I was hoping you were from the east coast! I could have given you lots of places
  4. Where do you live? Perhaps there is somewhere close to you that still sells it? Just a thought so that you don't have to go through the hassles of re-testing a whole new type of wax. :rolleyes2
  5. I used the WSP body butter base, so I know what you mean about the consistency - I liked it too, but the smell led me to KY. KY is a little bit thinner, but not much at all. It is still nice and thick which I love - too thick for a bottle, it has to go in a jar. I will never switch - it instantly softens up my elephant elbows Try it - you won't be disappointed.
  6. Here is a link to their site: www.kycandlewaxsupply.com
  7. Yeah, I was really disappointed with it - luckily I just bought a little off the classys so I don't have a whole jug of it. I got the body butter base and the body glaze from KY and love them...I'll have to try their body spray too...
  8. Has anyone used the body mist base from both WSP and KY? I have some of the WSP that I've been playing around with, but it's really sticky IMO. Was thinking about the KY base, but just wanted to see if anyone out here has used it too or if it's the same as WSP?
  9. That's not bad - I am going to have to get some samples from them because I don't know what size would be best....
  10. Did she give you prices? I was just looking for clear black zip bags....
  11. Try www.essentialsbycatalina.com - I was just looking and they have the clear zippered cosmetic bags for $.89 each.
  12. She just said that she purchased labels by the sheet - she never said from where, but I don't think she meant that she bought them from www.labelsbythesheet.com
  13. I just tried the WSP body mist and I found it a little sticky at first, but then it was pretty silky. I went by their guidelines and used 1/2 tsp of FO per 16 oz of base - I think I'll go up a little more on the FO though because it was a little too light for me. But is there any way to get rid of that 10 minutes of sticky-ness? I'm just worried about first impressions when people may test it....
  14. Don't know if this will help or not, but I didn't like my tarts either until I started using 25%Astor V and 75% CBL-130.
  15. I got home from work 10 minutes too late to help :undecided Well, since you already found what you need, and I still feel the need to contribute something that someone reading this may not know, I will say this: The gestation period of an elephant is 22 months. Glad they got back to you so quickly!
  16. For tealights, I sell them for: 6 (same scent) $3 12 (same scent) $5.50 24 (same scent) $10.00 6 (multiple scents) $4 12 (multiple scents) $7.50 24 (multiple scent) $12.00 I sell my votives for $1.75 ea. I don't have a deal on multiples...maybe I should, but I can't stand making them
  17. I used mine to make my SIL very happy because she didn't have one and I couldn't find anthing I needed mine for It was a nice Christmas in July present for her. Hmmm...I think I might have gotten mine for Christmas now that I think of it - sounds like an episode of Seinfeld if I ever heard one.
  18. LOL I've done that a time or two - drove me bonkers trying to even it back out again!
  19. Totally off topic, but I just thought it was funny how many Jen's replied to this thread! Hehehe - oh the little things in life that make me laugh. -Jen
  20. If you're happy with the wax you are using, you might just want to try wicking down to see if that reduces the soot problem...and make sure that your wicks are trimmed each time you light your candle...
  21. I know I have it at home, not that that helps you out right now :undecided I'll be home in 2.5 hours, so hang in there! Help is on the way!
  22. If you've already added the color and want it lighter, you can re-melt it and add more wax, then just adjust your FO accordingly.
