  1. I don't use that FO, but the first thing that popped into my head was a light purple...
  2. Why don't you just buy some from Dani? Or is she not making/selling it anymore? :undecided
  3. There is a link to Wick it on the right side of the message boards ------> they send tons of samples.
  4. Glitter from craft stores and walmart aren't cosmetic glitter - the best bet would be to buy them from a supplier. I get mine from MMS. Craft glitter actually contains tiny tiny pieces of glass in it, so you definately don't want to be rubbing that into your skin! :undecided
  5. I can't find the link, but I think Pamperme is the one that originally posted it....
  6. You can have them make glitter or sparkle gel - it's just aloe vera, FO, cosmetic glitter, and color...very easy to make and kids love it. There was a recipie on here. I'll take a look for the link.
  7. Great tip! I never thought of looking for them at Walmart for some reason. I'll have to check that out...
  8. Or you can use Goo Gone or Dissolve-It - from walmart, target, or other wonderful stores like that!
  9. I set mine on the doilie and then on a clear glass plate - I think they look nicer than the plastic ones (no offense) I get mine at bed bath and beyond...they come with 8 in a box for $9-10
  10. Hmmm...interesting. So, if I burn dinner, does that mean they are going to make appliance companies create a self-extinguishing oven? LOL I don't think so! That is so stupid IMHO - people need to start using their brains every once and a while - or at least hang around people that do.
  11. My most popular bear is a white bear scented with buttercream...
  12. I had a hard time trying to cover the scent of the body butter base too - I couldn't do it without adding a ton of FO which I couldn't do safely. I switched to the soy whip body butter base from KY, which has no odor to it at all and can handle 1-3% FO - I use 2% and it's awesome! I tried the body mist from WSP but I thought it was way too sticky - I now also use the mist from KY and it is much better. It has an alcohol smell to it at first, but within 10-15 seconds after you spray it, the alcohol smell goes away. I am definately much happier with KY's bases. HTH
  13. NO! Fragrance Oils are not safe for cosmetics
  14. You might get a better response if you email Bayousome directly, or at least post in the supplier announcement section.....
  15. OK, I'll be the black sheep....I LOVE lovespell...I renamed it Love potion and it is one of my top 5 best sellers. I never wore the perfume, so at least I know that I'm not the lady gagging you in the elevator LOL.
  16. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I saw someone on here say that it was apprx 10 drops....:undecided
  17. I too used WSP and hated it - a lot of people recommended KY so I got that base and it just came the other day. I am in love with it!! It has an alcohol smell at first but it really does go away when you spray it. I am so excited!!
  18. I stared making up a little poem for my bears but never finished - I have to do that. I'll see what I can remember off the top of my head.... My name is Scraggles the scented bear but you won't find a wick anywhere. Sit me on a plate and doily to keep your table from getting oily I'm sorry I can't remember the rest, but there was somthing about not letting him play with small kids or pets, and a line about not keeping him in the car. :undecided I'll look for it when I get home....but hopefully that can get you started with an idea or two.
  19. As long as we're coming up with suggestions, I would be thrilled if my wax supplier would put the wax in some type of bag before it goes in the cardboard box. The first and last slab always have bits of cardboard that embedded into it that I have to pick out or scoop out of my wax when it melts. Drives me bonkers!!! So if we could add that to the petition too
  20. I think candlewic is messing with my mind - I went to place my order, and now it says that it's out of stock again. Luckliy I found someone here with some to sell, so I'm cool as a cucumber. I guess I've just been lucky in the past that whenever I needed containers or wax, my suppliers always had it in stock....oh well, it was a good run LOL.
  21. LOL - only the 1-16 registered in my head - I called them to see what was going on and they assured me that they have it in stock and ready to go. I didn't realize until I was on the phone with them that 1-16-06 already went by LOL what an idiot I am. I was having such a bad day to end a really bad week at work and my brain was so fried. I feel so much better now....thanks for letting me have a mini-vent-rant-heart attack everyone!
  22. I think I'm going to have a heart attack....I just went to Candlewic's site to order a few cases of wax (CBL-130) and there is a note on there saying that "shipping will resume on 1-16-06" OMG - I have to call them when I leave work. If they really can't ship until January, I'm in a lot of trouble. Why in the world would a candle supply company not ship wax during the absolute 2 busiest months of the candle year? I don't have time to test a new wax before my craft show at the end of November....if anyone out there has a couple hundred pounds of CBL-130 they don't need, please let me know!
  23. Peak was out of white bears forever it seems (at least a few months) I emailed them a couple of times and they said that they were waiting for them from their supplier. But if you look at their site now, they only offer the brown bears I went to first and main's site, and the prices are really good, but you have to have a min order of $125.00. I was thinking about doing a co-op for them, but I am just so busy that I don't know if I'd have time to do a good job at it and I don't want to screw anyone up, because then they would look like this: and I would have to do this :tiptoe:
