@TallTaylI'm going to try and find something to use it for too! I heard their patchouli is awesome! However, your oils are beyond great!

Love, love, love the Watermelon from Gen Wax and check out their Juicy bits of orange while you're at it. Their watermelon smells like the actual fruit no candy notes here.
Pear - I really love Perfect Pear from Just Scent
As for the Rhubarb and Fig scent isn't there a summer picnic pie that uses those two ingredients or have I just lost my mind? Good luck!

I use a para/soy blend and all the ones Belinda uses from Just Scent and Bulk are wonderful. I also use ICS Coffee Bean (super duper strong so cut back!) and Orange Vanilla Coffee. I also like AH's Butter Rum Cappuccino and Coffee House.

@Marleigha, I I haven't used karma sutra or salt water taffy (although I think I have a sample of the latter around here somewhere!). The only ginger ale scent I've smelled and liked was Bramble Berry's Ginger Ale. It's a dupe of Primal Scents Ginger Fish soap scent which I love. Sounds like the RE description of sparkling ginger is right on and has some good reviews. I wish I could be of more help.

I can't really help you on the condensed milk type scents as I haven't found one that smells like the real deal. However, I do like RA's Whipped Cream scent; it's a light scent but very nice. They have a vanilla bean scent that is a true single note scent no added sweetness or creaminess but lovely (might work in some ways). I like the vanilla ice cream from Fragrance Buddy, yummy! You might also want to check out ICS and their vanilla smoothie, I use that as a blender with many different things. One last thing, ICS also has a sugar milk (aka condensed milk) that has some good reviews but I've never tried it. Good luck!!!
Oh and the Sweet Amber Musk is just wonderful. I use it in wax and love it.

Hi ,just wandering if the peppermint over rides the Cocoa on your suggested blend ? Gosh the blend sounds soooo Good .I love blending oils ,have never thought about this one .I have Aztec hot cocoa and North Pole from flaming .What co. do you recommend for this blend ? I have to try this one ,great for Christmas .
I love Hot Chocolate Dreams from Fragrance Buddy. As for the Peppermint, I like to use candy cane for a more sweet scent instead of straight peppermint. If you're looking for a great scent that's already blended but has a coffee note, check out Just Scent's Starbucks Peppermint Mocha (delish). If you're blending try a ratio of 3 cocoa to 1 mint; it really depends on how strong you want the mint to come through! Happy Blending.

Hey Trapp,
I personally love the lemongrass from the Candle Source. KK is right in that there are no floral notes in lemongrass, it's a pure scent.

How about...

Finally, after a couple of moves & some life circumstances, I am able to start making candles again 🎉 Oh how I have missed it!
I am looking to add a few new scents that customers have ask about, but since having been out of the loop for awhile, suppliers have changed somewhat. I currently use AH/RE, JS & CS for most of my fragrances, but what are some thoughts about suppliers for the following?
Home Sweet Home (Yankee Dupe)
Pink Sands (Yankee Dupe)
Salted Caramel
Pineapple Cilantro (or something else similar to Disney’s Sole Whips)
Some sort of Coffee or Coffee Blend
TIA
Jennifer
Welcome back to candle making hometowncandles! I use the following:
Home sweet home - Natures Garden, I think JS has this scent too but I haven't used it
Salted Caramel - Fragrance Buddy, Flaming
PIneapple Cilantro - Bittercreek (I think)
Coffee - JS Snickers Coffee, JS Caramel Cinnamon Latte, JS Caramel Macchiato, JS Coffee Ice Cream, BW Gingerbread Latte, JS Peppermint Mocha, WSP Cardamom Mocha, AH Butter Rum Cappuccino, ICS Coffee Bean, JS Pumpkin Spice Latte, ICS Vanilla Hazelnut Coffee

Do you know what type of wax they are using? It could be the fragrance, fragrance load or additives used or a combination of both.

So many suggestions! Looks like I’m going to be busy (and broke lol). I’m really looking forward to putting together a lineup of at least 10 solid fragrances before I try to start selling outside friends, coworkers, and family. Right now doing the holiday thing (aren’t we all), but after the holidays gonna really focus on finding some core fragrances. I am really trying to go with fragrances like the Feng Shui Elements, patchouli blends, vanillas, sandalwoods, and other earthy type blends. I also love scents like Bergamot and Tobacco or Green Tea for example. I have designed my logo already, now just gotta find the scents I like.
@Tony, love your logo. So serene! You might want to check out Adobe Soapworks for their Sandalwood Vanilla. It's got a lot of depth and is very earthy. TallTayl's Egyptian Dragon and Amber are just beautiful and would fit nicely into your lineup as well.

Thank you for the suggestions! I have never tried Candle Cocoon. RE has given me mixed results but have overall been pretty good. Daystar I have mixed feelings about. I have for the most part loved her oils but communication has been challenging. The other issue I have had is that most of the scents I used to love from there have been discontinued. 😔
I hear you about the discontinuations with Daystar; some of my faves were discontinued as well Candle Cocoon has super strong oils and you might find you need to cut back on the amount you use or they can get stinky (scent warp). Happy Shopping!

Not to throw any more anvils into the fire but besides NG, you might want to check out AromaHaven/Rustic Escentuals, Daystar Candle Supplies and Candle Cocoon. Tremendous throwers and worth every penny.

The best bayberry scent I only use and love is from Lonestar Candle Supply. It's not sharp and tangy like some others are. It has a nice subtle spice note. It's delicious!
