  1. The best carrot cake I ever used was by Fragrance Oil Heaven.  They were bought out by Elements who subsequently dropped the scent.  It smelled identical to the real thing.  As for cheesecake, I've not found a plain cheesecake that was awesome but I do like Just Scent's and CS's Blueberry Cheesecake.

  2. I've had both.  Candle Cocoon's Ooey Gooey Caramel is super strong so you'll need to cut back on the amount you add...for real; it can be overpowering and slightly stinky if you don't.   It smells really rich and creamy...I would love to drink the bottle or bathe in it (don't judge!).  Kickin Caramel is delicious as well.  I find that it's sweeter smelling and lighter than Ooey Gooey Caramel.  I use kickin caramel more as it's easier to blend with other scents because it doesn't drown out the other scents.

    I think that's where I got the idea. :)

But I do NOT want to order from a new supplier!  I have already added Candlewic to my list this year, which includes Candlescience, The Candlemaker's Store, Nature's Garden, Mill Creek, Fragrance Buddy, Aztec, Rustic Escentuals, Peak, Cierra, Indiana Candle Supply, Plus I ordered from Just Scent once and Tennessee Once, and I'm probably leaving some out.

I haven't gotten to Lonestar or Bittercreek or Flaming Candle or Cajun......:)

If you want a sample of Vanilla Cotton, just PM me.  It's a really great scent.  You haven't even touched Pure Fragrance Oils, Bulk Apothecary, Southern Scentations, TriState, Texas Candle Supply...oh my the list just goes on, doesn't it?!

I love her coffee scents! There was one I didn't get a strong throw from and I think it was Snickers coffee but it might've been me more than the oil. She has some really good oils. She has some duds too but that's with all of them.

I love the Snickers coffee.  You might want to try Bulk Apothecary; they carry Snickers coffee too and it's throw is super powerful.

I am looking for real strong scents and already have some favorites from natures garden or flaming candle but I have never ordered from JS and they have a lot of unique things I would like to try. I was hoping someone could chime in and see if they've tried these scents before as I already googled a lot. I use parasoy candles and use max load possible. Here are the fragrances I wanted to try:

    VANILLA SNOWFLAKE

    BUTTERCREAM CRUNCH

    BUTTERSCOTCH BRULEE

    PEPPERMINT BARK

    MARSHMALLOW PEPPERMINT

    CHRISTMAS WISH

    CHRISTMAS BLIZZARD

    COTTON CANDY SUPER STRONG

    BAHAMA MAMA

    COCONUT CRAZY

    COTTON CANDY FROSTED CAKE

    COTTON CANDY FROSTING

    FAIRY DUST

I'm pretty nervous ordering fragrances as I find coconuts and cake ones always smell like play dough. I had the candy cane vanilla FO from natures garden and no matter what type of wax I used it always smells like a a weird burnt smell when lit so I really want a good mint scent. Hoping someone can take the time to help me if they have used any of these!

Vanilla Snowflake type - Although this is a very good one, I think I like Aroma Haven's just a tad bit more.  I'm going to go downstairs and sniff between the two just to make sure.

Buttercream Crunch - A sweet delicious delight.  You may also want to check out their Vanilla Buttercream Crunch too (so sweet and decadent)

Peppermint Bark - The only one I use.  Top seller in winter and it smells just like the candy.  Nice and rich with just the right combo of peppermint and chocolate.

Christmas Wish - Another love.  Perfect combination of sugar cookies and pine.

Cotton Candy Stronger - Be on this!  My favorite.  It is very strong for such a typically light scent.

Cotton Candy Frosting - I ordered a sample of this but haven't put it in wax yet.  Heard many folks like this better than the cotton candy stronger.

    Things not on your list:

Birthday Cake, Caramel Cinnamon Latte (super strong), Blue Cotton Candy, Chestnuts and Brown Sugar, Super Red Hot Cinnamon, Orange Chiffon cake, Serendipity, Orange Caramel Crumble, and Pink Lemonade...just to name a few.

No Nurture sells in smaller (to larger) quantities.  They've just duped some of the Mad Oils FOs because MO stopped carrying their oils in smaller quantities. This is why I thought of asking them to dupe the TCS oils before I run out.

Here is what I have in:

~1lb+: True Lavender, Peach Raspberry Magnolia, Redwood Cedar, Tangerine Dreams, Forest Muse, Sweet Musk

~2 to 4 oz: Under the tree, VBN, Sweat Pea, Lovespell, Dried Apple Wreath, Lilac, Spicy Apples&Peaches

~1oz:  Chocolate Nut Brownie, Brown sugar & Honey, Buttercream, Sweet coconut, Birthday Cake, Georgia Peach, Honeysuckle Passion, lemon Chiffon Pie, Fruit Loops, Fruit Slices, Hot Maple Toddy, Be delicious, Ocean Fresh, Flowerbomb Type,  Butt Naked, Sugar Cookie, Butterscotch Brulee, Fresh Strawberry, Egg Nog, Spiced Clove, Spiced Cranberry, Gingerbread House, Red Velvet Cupcake, Christmas Tree, Christmas Splendor, Pumpkin Souffle, Strawberry Cheesecake, Mulberry.

I was able to buy a few (but not all) of the ones I liked when TCS announced the sale.  I plan on sending the ones in the top 2 lines to Nurture.  I can contribute the ones in 1oz categories if anybody is interested.

FYI: Candle Cocoon Neroli de la Luna is an exact dupe for Redwood Cedar (at least in soap).  Branbleberry Summer Fling is a poor dupe for Peach Raspberry Magnolia if anybody is looking.  The TCS version is much stronger, doesn't discolor and is much cleaner smelling than BB.

Any chance you might consider sending in chocolate nut brownie?

I like Peaks + RE's Bday cake (KY) theres a few from ICS that smell really good OOB but changed in wax, or to my nose anyhow. The one that comes to

mind is ICS Sugared Vanilla Shortbread, I don't like it in wax.

You should try Candlewic's Sugared Vanilla Shortbread; it's the original and smells so good!

Thanks for those suggestions! I took a look at their site awhile back and got so excited about those last two, but I have a thing about pthalates, especially since I make body stuff. I know there's some debate about them, but I thought I'd avoid them. Vanilla Smoothie is pthalate-free, though!

If you want a sample to play with just let me know.

  9. For a straight buttercream - Daystar Buttercream Frosting.  I used to also love their pink buttercream frosting but it's been discontinued.  I found Just Scent's Cotton Candy Stronger to be really good; it's super popular.  JS Blue Cotton Candy is really good too.

  10. Her Comptoir sud Pacifique dupes are on point.  Belinda is correct, her vanilla bean cookies is vanilla bean noel.  Other goodies include brown sugar, buttercream frosting, blackberry cookies, marshmallow, cake bake, salty sailor, cabana boy, innocent grace (pure grace), ginger lime and sweet pumpkin to name a few.

Mermaids Tail  - Pacific Tide - Sea Foam - IDK im not very good at this :(

Moonstar, I think those are great names.  Just jibing off Moonstar's names....Mermaid's Dream, Seaside Floral, Poisenden's Tale, Neptune's Breeze (can you tell my son just finished a lesson on Greek and Roman history?).  Sorry, I suck at names too!
