  1. The site that these were on said that it was hand etched. Anybody have any idea how to do that? TIA Portia
  2. In addition to the other suggestions I would put your title either in parenthesses or a ! afterwards to make it stand out. HTH Portia
  3. Consignment is where you place items in someone's store and they charge a % each month of your sales to cover their expenses. Wholesale is when someone places an order with you for X amount of $ (alot have a minimun of like $100) and they turn around and sell it for what they wish to. That's the extent of what I know about it,,,,,,,,HTH Portia
  4. What size wick are you using? Portia
  5. Glorybee Foods has them for $22.50 Portia
  6. I have used the old version and the new version and I WON'T use anything else for my containers. I absolutely love it. The only time I've ever had any soot from this wax is when my wick is too large. I use only zinc wicks in this wax and have great results, clean burn, awesome throw, both cold and hot. To me it's easier to purchase their preblended Joy than it is to purchase 2 different waxes and have to mix. HTH Portia
  7. When you use a wick pin, you just pull the wick pin out after it has set up and insert either a tabbed wick or a wick. If you are using a pretabbed wick you will want to dip the bottom of the candle in wax to cover the tab. But if you are using a tabless wick, just use a heating pan to level and intact the wick. 8. I'm just curious as to what scent you would make those? I've been in a bucket for so long now, but I'd think "Fresh Baked Bread"??????? I don't remember seeing that scent anywhere. Portia
  9. I bought a bunch at Michael's last year........Portia
  10. Check with StacysSensations(DH) he does some awesome work and is fast. HTH Portia
  11. Have you checked at CandlesandSupplies or Bittercreek? I know the first one has some really nice containers. HTH Portia
  12. I use them ALOT with no problems. Some of them I just pour and some of them I put fluff on top sprinkled with alittle cinnamon. HTH Portia
  13. Dang they look so real, but they don't look too "mini". Is this order for a bakery or what? They all look so good....Portia
  14. Candy Corn - Sweet Smelling, but really nice Christmas Spendor - I can't keep it made up during the holidays, GREAT! Not too spicy, IMO Indian Summer - I purchased it years ago, but I can't remember what it was like. Pink Sugar - Very light Spa - Nice, but I cut back on the amount of this one that I use per/lb. Cranberry Balsam - ? HTH Portia
  15. I am testing 2 grubby pillars, 1 is Gingerbread and the other one is Hot Baked Apple Pie. I used a 30ply wick in both and the Apple Pie is carrying a tall flame. Both are leaving a perfect shell and has awesome throw. I just don't like the tall flame. Should I try wicking down or up? TIA Portia
  16. I can't really make out all of the wording, but from what I see, they look great! The only thing I would change is the color of your font for the business name. With all the red, brown, orange and black, I think something to match those colors would look alittle better. HTH, JMO Portia
  17. I too use the cello bags and use wraphia with a bow to match the color of the candle and attach a hangtag,,,,,,,,,,wa la HTH Portia
  18. Thank you so much! That is exactly what I was looking for. Portia
  19. Can anyone who uses this progam for your 2.5" round labels please give me the dimensions for customizing this size template? My computer crashed and I lost EVERYTHING and am trying to redo everything from memory. Thank you so much! Portia
  20. I got the baby block mold from flexible molds and I tried a couple using 4794 wax and tested a 36-24-24z and it ended up blowing out the sides. Anyone have any suggestions on wicking these? TIA Portia
  21. What do you use to pour your liquid into? I'm picturing in my mind that you pour your liquid into something and then place your item to be "molded" into the liquid to set. Am I even close on my thinking? Or do you place your items to be molded into a container and pour your liquid over those items? Is there anything particular that you CAN'T pour into? I ordered the kit and have no clue as to what to prepare for. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Portia
  22. I use that or 4761, but prefer the 4761 because it doesn't shrink (endup with a slight dip) like the 4794 does. HTH Portia
  23. So it seems as if container wax is the going wax for tealights? Do you all find that you have to change wicks for the tealights when using container wax? I have been trying to use the tealight wicks so far, but I'm just not satisfied with what I've used so far. Thanks,,,,,,,Portia
