I noticed that Scentsy sells 2.5 oz. clamshells for $5.00 . I thought they were 3 oz. Are they smaller clamshells or are they using less wax??? I have never really looked at their products... I guess I can let my customers know that.

I hope you get that resolved....You might contact your insurance and ask them what safety precautions you can take to handle this matter. Especially if someone comes after you for damages.

I don't know what you sell your 3 oz. melts for, but I sell mine for $4.25 ea. and I would probably sell the 10 oz. for $14.50-$15.00. But it depends on what the customers will pay.

I just asked impact how many ounces the large size holds and it holds 10 oz. Candlemama if you want to check to see if you can find a local company that is comparable and would save some $$ that would be great.

I have asked how many oz. these hold. I am wanting some that hold 10-12 oz. maybe 16 but it depends on what I hear back from them and price. I will keep you posted. I will probably do a co-op, but I have never done one before. But I am very interested in adding a larger size for customers.

I know better than to let the secular world get to me...It is just so sad to see our economy crumbling. This whole economy reminds me of the 1980's when there was no work, but it seems worse. I don't know how we ever made it.

I hate it too! I purchased some when VS was clearing out some Lovespell conditioner and my hubby followed me around. It drove him crazy. I really liked the conditioner but not the scent but they discontinued it and now hubby doesn't bother me as much. I should make some conditioner with that scent...

What scents can be used for odor eliminators in either a candle or melt? I want a strong scent to cover pet odors. Thanks!

I don't give out free candles anymore. I never really did unless they were a long time customer and bought alot of stuff from me. Your candles will sell if they look and smell great. If the store really wants to burn a candle before they buy than offer them at wholesale. Good luck!

I was at our local mall yesterday night and 7 stores are closing by Feb.!!! It isn't good. Now our mall is going to look like a ghost town. I feel so sad two stores that carries my products are closing there. So sad.. One already closed and claimed bankrupty.. I got nothing out of them because they went on a 30 day net with me. My hands are tied and I can't get any of my products back, except through court... The other store already paid me, and they are from a large chain of 30 stores. Just shows how bad the economy is doing. If our mall can't make it with all the traffic than who can? I am getting ready to launch my new product line but to who??? At work this week two people got laid off because their jobs went automated and these are single women one with small kids at home. I should have been part of the layoff because I am the last one still standing from our little group.. Now it is just me and the manager. My supervisor left a couple months ago and the three others moved to other areas. It is very confusing and disappointing because I work at a hospital. Working at a hospital is supposed to be secure, so I thought.. I guess more layoffs is to be expected. I am preparing myself by paying all my bills off, but how can you ever be prepared???

I bought some methol crystals wanting to make some foot scrubs, but I can't find any.....Does anyone have a good recipe they might be willing to share.. I don't know what I was thinking when I bought it...

The clamshells that Walmart sells are made in Utah. All I smell is paraffin. I hear that alot from people that buy from Scentsy too. Lots of air bubbles in the wax and dips, but they sell alot of them.

If your melt pool is too deep I recommend a larger wick or double wicking.
