  1. I would choose: Banana Nut Bread 1 from Fudge Nut Brownie, Hot Chocolate, Italian Biscotti...I'd probably choose Hot Chocolate Hot Buttered Run, although I haven't tried it That's only 3, but I don't see another I think would be a keeper.
  2. On the old board, somebody had a display of their tarts and they were using these http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=USPlastic&category%5Fname=3&product%5Fid=182 Here's another http://www.sks-bottle.com/340c/fin68b.html
  3. Yes, the majority of the other oils I use are at 1 oz. So if you are able to use WYW oils at .5, you are spending about the same as you would for other oils. If there were oils from WYW that I'd have to use more than .5, then I wouldn't use it.
  4. I use Bamboo, Vanilla Grapefruit & Buttercream Crunch & don't use more than .5 oz. pp. They are great oils.
  5. "Michi has exceeded their stored private messages quota and can not accept further messages until they clear some space." lol, clear up some space woman!
  6. I like Peak's - it's very strong.
  7. I use TL-15 wicks, they mushroom but hold up. I thought the 34-40Z wicks did good, I just didn't want to use zinc. The LX-8 did not do well for me, they just flopped over & burned through the plastic cup. I've tested both the metal & plastic cups & use the same size wick for both.
  8. I haven't done anything like that before so I can't really compare the prices. It would equal out to $25/week which sounds pretty good.
  9. I use polypro bags because the boxes are too expensive IMO.
  10. Well I found a base that I like, but I wanted to try to add that Monoi oil & see how it is. I called the supplier and they said that I should be safe to add up to 2% of FO, color & oil. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for the advice!
  11. Can you add any additional oils into a lotion base? If so, how much are you able to add or how could I find out? Thanks!
  12. I haven't tried these myself, but these would probably work if they fit your jar http://www.ezwicksystem.com/default.asp?SID=x2MN4NVN56ZSK2XQQNKPPD&S=E3&Document=Wick+Centering+Tool&NID=2736343
  13. Yup, if you have a premier or business account, it charges fees for all payments made to you. Some people set up a personal account because of this, for hosting co-ops & such, but it will not allow you to accept debit or credit card payments - only direct transfers from their bank account. With a personal account though, you can only receive & withdraw up to $500 a month before they will require you to upgrade to one of the other types of accounts.
  14. The only one I tried from that list is Fantasy. It threw great in 4630, and the scent was kinda unique, but I decided not to carry it.
  15. What is expensive to you? I get mine from BCN. They sell bulk in 10 lbs. for $3.25 a lb. or 50 lbs. which will bring it down to $2.75 a lb. I've done minimal research on them, but I don't recall seeing them for too much lower, maybe a quarter (if you were to buy large bulk).
  16. I also use this size bag from Veripack. I haven't personally used these bags, and there is a minimum order of $35, but they're cheaper than Veripack http://www.gtbag.com/polyprozip.html
  17. Sweet Pea is awesome, Cucumber Melon was extremely light & I haven't tried Watermelon.
  18. Moonlight Path throws very well, but I had to cut down the amount per pound & wick up.
  19. Do you have a harder wax, like tart or pillar wax on hand that you can mix with?
  20. I use color chips for some colors, and I melt the chip then pour. Adding wax without melting the chip took too long for the chip to melt.
  21. Not sure about the others, but this one looks like they have the daisy http://www.scottcrewcandlesupply.com/store/agora.cgi?product=Molds-Flowers&hdr=molds
  22. Thanks for the offer Terri. I went ahead and put through another order for SAO, Sunflower oil, Dry Flo & IPM. I'll try those out & re-whip it, hopefully that'll work. I only ordered the butters & FCO because that's all I thought I'd need. Thanks for educating me guys! I had no idea about any of this stuff, but I'm learning a lot just from what you guys told me. I don't want to get into B&B quite yet, so I'm hoping I don't get addicted.
  23. Somebody posted this recipe on here - I wanted to try to make one just to use on myself since I've been real dry, and it looked simple: 4 oz. cocoa butter 4 oz. mango butter 3 oz. fractionated coconut oil I added about 1/2 tsp. cornstarch and a little FO. The problem is, it's REALLY hard (firm)! My finger will only glide across the top. Also, it's extemely greasy - do I need to add more cornstarch? Any ideas?? Thanks!!
