  1. http://shop.essentialsupplies.com/cgi/display.cgi?item_num=200ML-BELL-12&dept=Plastic
  2. I think the 2nd one looks MUCH better. I really like it.
  3. I had them in votive display boxes that was set up on a bookcase. I like how it looks, but it is such a PITA setting those darn boxes up & tearing them down. Those that use these boxes, do you set them up each time you have a show or do you have a simpler way? What does everybody else use? Thanks.
  4. I think it's a little too plain, but I think you are going for that type of look? I like plain, classy labels, but I dunno, it needs a little something but I can't decide what. I think you have too many fonts going on, but I like the how you did the company name. I think the scent name should stand out more.
  5. Yes, one size works in just about all of my FO's.
  6. If you want to make pillars, both rustic & non-rustic, I think 1343 would be a good choice since it's versatile depending on the additives you use with it.
  7. I also pour mine into the square plastic containers, put the lid on them, put a stickie with the info on it, then leave for future use.
  8. I use LX-12's in my votives and they burn well. If you are doing unscented and want to use LX's, I would test between the LX-10 & LX-12.
  9. I would also wash it out. Just rinsing will still leave some of the previous FO in the glass.
  10. I don't use soy, but I think Peak's is right on.
  11. I haven't seen them that cheap anywhere. How much was shipping on those?
  12. When I bought mine a few months ago & researched, this was the best deal I found http://www.pospaper.com/imprinters.html
  13. I don't do B&B so don't really know much about it. Is body butter & whipped shea comparable? Which one do you suggest to use for dry skin? My skin isn't normally dry, but my hands have been really dry out here lately. I know there are plenty of people who make this stuff on the board, but as I was trying to search I got so overwhelmed. I haven't tried anybody's handmade creams, lotions, butters, shea....anything, so I'm not sure how they are different than the big name guys. Should I assume that with handmade B&B that it's better than what the big guys are putting out? I'd much rather give my money to somebody here than giving it to them, if I found something I liked. Do you guys that make these, sell sample sizes? Thanks!
  14. Did you change your pouring temp? This happened to me once before when I tried pouring cool, but it hasn't happened since I poured at a higher temp.
  15. I like the look of the 2nd one better, but it looks a little plain. I liked that your 1st design had a lot of color.
  16. Here are some threads about Gemlite. I personally don't have experience with either of these companies. http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9406&highlight=gemlite http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5502&highlight=gemlite
  17. Sorry everyone, I have a tax question. I've tried calling the State Board of Equalization here & was told to speak to an advisor but nobody is calling me back . Do you pay use tax on the supplies that you use for testing? I'm confused because you're not really using it for personal use, but it's not going to be resold either. Any insight to this is appreciated. Thanks!
  18. Some shows here require that sales tax be charged, but sometimes they're not specific. I add it into the price, and have a sign that states sales tax is included in the price. Like Beth, I have a master list that shows the actual price, tax, then the price of the product (which matches the product price sign). For instance, a $10 container - the master list shows: Container - $9.28 Tax - $0.72 (7.75%) Total - $10.00 Every product that's sold is broken down like this, just in case anybody asks to see. My prices either end in quarter amounts or straight dollar amounts, so I only deal with bills & quarters. I find that this would be a lot simpler for me.
  19. Not sure if you were looking for wholesale or not, but found a site that sells them http://newbeginningsdecor.com/store/category/8yao/Candle_Warmers.html (at the bottom)
  20. Somebody should call this company. I tried about 6 months ago to do a co-op with them. I contacted them & asked if it was possible to order them with tops & bottoms without having so many tops left over. They said that they are now sold that way, and the prices are a little higher than what's showing on the website and it needs to be updated. When they asked which size I was interested in, I asked if they could give me a price list for all the sizes listed. I was told it would take a while & they'd have to e-mail it to me. I've had to call & request this about 3 times, over about a months period, because they never sent me a price list. I live about 5 minutes from one of their warehouses, but they told me the tins are located at the Vernon location & are shipped from there. Sorry can't help with quality. Since they gave me such a runaround I didn't even want to see a sample if it would be so much trouble. Hopefully somebody can get more information than I did & have better luck. Even if prices are higher than what's listed, I don't see it being too much higher. It'd be great if someone can get this to work.
