I recieved my samples right after I requested them quite awhile ago. I have now ordered from them and I don't think you would have to worry about shipping. My arrived the next day.

Oh my, I have been sick to my stomach before too when pouring patchouli or rose. Those are about the only two that bother me. I just make sure I pour something I like last. That way I don't smell THEM all night.

First of all I would like to welcome you to the board. Hope you get all your supplies today and can start playing. Candle making is so fun, but it can be very frustrating also. Just wondering if you know anybody on the coast with a store or someplace you could have your wax or heavyier items shipped to? Would save you a bunch if you could just pick up there. Something you might want to think about in the future. We have alot of candlemakers from Canada on this board and I'm sure they will chime in and give you details on suppliers. You can get some great buys on Ebay. Just be sure you know brands everything is. That way when you need more, you'll be able to find it. Don't want you to make a nice product and then can't reproduce it. Take full advange of this board. Read,read,read. There is more information than any book you can buy. And most of all, have fun.

Hmmmm. Don't know about the plastic wrap. Hope you put your candle mold on a cookie sheet or something. You might have a problem if the wax finds the tiniest hole to sneak out. Welcome to the board.

I think about a month ago someone had 2 of those molds in the classifieds. Don't know if they got sold though. They are really quite big and kinda expensive.

I love the pink lemonade and sage and citrus is a big seller. Mimosa mandarin is great. I got fresh floral linen and hawaiian breeze curing now. Have poured oxegen before and could not get that one to throw. Very light scent.

I put my in a flat container{like the kind that mac.or potato salad comes in when you buy bulk) that is 1/2 filled with kitty litter. JUst angle agianst the side and litter hold them there. I can get 6 in there easy.

Glad you are trying another FO company. Never heard of the one you are using. Have you gotten someone else to smell your candles. Candlemakers do get candle nose and can't smell them at all. Trying smells some coffee beans or instant coffee before you smell them. Might help. Good luck and don't give up yet.

Is this something you are going to wick and plan on burning? If not you can use embed wax. Its alot harder and sets up quicker. Would require differant testing if you are going to burn. Just a thought.

I really like these wicks too. Got my samples quite awhile ago and still testing. Have one jar figured out and votives. I had to order the 1000 for my votives and have had very good luck with them.
