I very carefully spoon it in and then gently bang the jar on the table to make the air bubbles rise.

I was looking at some empty checkbook boxes and was about to throw them out and thought they'd be great for soap molds. Has anyone done this? I might give them a try and let you know how it works out.

I do the ice bath and let it sit for about 1/2 hour or so and by then it starts firming up and I use a handmixer and whip it for about 10 minutes.

I've always add my FO at trace, maybe I'll try adding to the oils.

I've used the Ultramarine blue, Grass Green, and Pink. I just love them!! My last batch was with the pink and Hibiscus fragrance and it's heavenly!!!

I don't think I could add my fragrance after my BB was made. I've never tried it but I don't think it would incorporate well. I always make one scented batch at a time.

My lip balm labels won't stick and I don't know what to do! They go the whole way around the lip balm and the ends won't stick. Do you think a glue stick would work? TIA!!

I posted in September about how I was contacted by someone who does advertising for my dentist and she ordered 1000 lip balms and said the dentist would need them by the 2nd week in October and I was so excited!! My first big order!! This lady was making special labels for them and I would get them in about 2 weeks. 3 weeks came and went and no labels. After numerous emails and phone calls that were never returned I finally got her on her cellphone and she said there was a delay. And on and on. To make a long story short it's now February and I just got the labels today. They are fantastic looking labels but I'm really ticked off that I killed myself to get these lip balms done for October. You all gave me really good advise about contracts and getting a down payment. It all turned out okay but I'll never be so trusting again and will follow your advice. Live and learn!!

I usually park near the door till I'm unloaded and then move my Jeep.

I order from BCN a lot and live in Pa. I usually get an online invoice in the next 1-2 days and get my stuff in about 5 days to a week.

A good friend of mine couldn't wait to show me a candle she got at one of those stores where everything is a dollar. Can you imagine what kind of 8oz candle you would get for 1.00??!!I looked at this candle and saw that it was loaded with spots of FO seeping out everywhere!! I told her that I would be very leary of burning it. Then she said that she told everyone at work about her candle and that they were all going to stop after work and buy some!!! :shocked2:

I posted a few weeks ago about my dentist ordering 1000 lip balms. The order was placed by someone affiliated with him and she said she was ordering the labels so I wouldn't have to worry about that and they would be mailed to me in 2 weeks. She said he would need the lip balms by the 1st or 2nd week of October. So I killed myself getting these lip balms done and guess what? The labels haven't arrived yet!! So I emailed her and left her a voice mail and no response. I'm panicking thinking maybe the labels were lost in the mail and got ahold of her today and she said they weren't EVEN ORDERED YET!!!! She was waiting to hear from the dentist about the style of labels he wanted. I was really upset that she couldn't give me the courtesy of returning my call or email to tell me this. I held my tongue because I didn't want to get stuck with 1000 lip balms. Just wanted to vent. Thanks for listening!!

I finally heard back from them today and they want 1000 lip balms to start with. I'll order the supplies today and when I receive them they want them in about 2 weeks. I'll be pouring lip balms in my sleep!!!!!!!!

I've never used shrink wrap and wanted to try the shrink wrap for lip balm tubes. Do you have to use a heat gun or would a blow dryer be sufficient?Thanks!!

Besides trying a B vitamin does she have any thyroid problems?
