  1. After I pour my soap into the mold, I place a pice of plastic wrap over top and then run my hand over the plastic to smooth out the soap and then cover with towels.
  2. I bought a large bakers rack at a yard sale and then place a bunch of stackable cooling racks on the shelves.
  3. Is her last name Amato or something like that ?
  4. Now, for our disclaimer......Just because we can make money selling these finished products, doesn't mean that everyone can. Some people just can't seem to accomplish even the simplest of task. You need common sense and a little "get up and go". If you can't manage to do what we can, please don't complain to us. We have plenty of customer who can. I was a little shocked to see this. Am I missing something?
  5. I get mine from Bittercreek North
  6. I also use the ones from BCN and don't have any problem at all with them.
  7. I think those look fabulous!! Great job!!
  8. Years ago I worked with a girl who made the most beautiful buckwheat pillows. There was this guy who worked with us that was looking to quit his job and get into something else so he would ask a lot of questions about her pillows and my candles and we knew that he was trying to get info because he thought he could make a lot of money from it. He was really annoying!!
  9. I was in a craft show a few years ago at the local VFW around the 4th of July. There were about 20 of us who set up for it. We got set up and sat and waited. We got 5 people the entire day who came and looked around. No food, coffee, nothing. We found out that they never advertised, no signs anywhere. Another time I was at a craft show with my mother who was in a wheelchair and it was in a school. We asked for a table on the first floor because of my Mom, they put us on the 3rd floor and wouldn't change it. They had an elevator but were not happy about us having to use it. I very nicely let them know how I felt about it and told them we would never be back.
  10. I think she gave up her business due to illness. She made some really nice molds and was very helpful. Hope she's okay.
  11. I love Bittercreek North's Lavender Geltone.
  12. I love Bittercreek North's Creme Brulee!!
  13. I've made CP soap cupcakes in the past and used the silicone cupcake liners. After I scent my soap I pour some into dixie cups and color the rest of the soap and ladel into my silicone cupcake liners at thick trace and then pour the uncolored soap on top. The next day I remove the silicone cupcake liners and it looks like a frosted cupcake. Whipped soap would look better, though.
  14. My favorites are Spiced Cranberry, Juniper Breeze, Hollyberry, Bayberry, Creme Brulee, Candy Corn, Autumn Leaves, Smoke and Odor Eliminator, Sunripened Raspberry, FCC Lavender, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Seabreeze, Hibiscus And Thai Palm, Hot Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Snowberry, and I'm sure I'll remember more later. These are from BCN.

  16. I wonder if the citric acid started reacting. I'm not sure if a heat gun would work or not. Aren't those bath melts fabulous in the tub?!
  17. Plumeria nauseates me. Red Hot Cinnamon made me really sick and messed up my vision for a while, at first I thought I was having a stroke! I was much better after I got away from the scent.
  18. What a jerk!!! Sorry you had to go through that. Let us know what happens.
  19. I felt really sick one day while making Red Hot Cinnamon tarts. I was dizzy and seeing spots, and felt nauseated. I also ended up with a headache.
