Candybee
My first CP soap I made today. I didn't add any dyes or scents with this one. Wanted to see how the recipe worked without anything added. Its AJs recipe with OO, CO, Castor Oil, and Lard. I just love how it came out so creamy white. Funny, creamy white soaps are my absolute fav to look at!The pic is a little out of focus. I will try to take better cut pix.

Candybee
This would be my first cut too so they are not the best looking. They are still soft and moist like chalky clay. It's hard to believe it will turn into soap. Little pieces that I cut off clean like soap but are oily and don't lather. I suppose its gonna take a while for it to dry out and harden up enough to lather.

Candybee
Awesome!! You inspired me to finally try it! Yours turned out sooo nice and white! Mine is kinda yellowish...From what I understand the lard I used helped make mine a creamy white. I think the CO probably helped a bit too but not sure. lauramw71
I added cocoa butter to mine. I bet that's where my yellowish color came from. Otherwise I used the same recipe as you. Oh well, I'm ok with it!
