Babyv
They are adorable!! I use to have one as a kid. It was my favorite doll and I couldn't sleep without her.
LovelyLathers
Thanks! They are a pain to make. The hair on each one takes about 4 to 5 hours, each strand is had sewn in by hand. But they are so cute I can't resist making them.
Maggie
OMG...I love Raggedy Anne too. I had a doll when I was a kid and we bought an amost life size one for my daughter when she was little. She slept with her every night.I have a pattern here to make them...bought it about 9 years ago. It's one of the MANY things I found in the big box in the closet. My favorite type of dolls thought are Gingerbread. I bought a pattern for those at the same time I bought Raggedy Anne. I bought everything needed to make them...and it's all in a big plastic bag just waiting for me to begin. I think they will make a great fall sewing project.I hope it doesn't take 4-5 hours to make the hair for the ones I am making. I'll NEVER get it done. lol
