deena
Pardon my ignorance, but what is a salt bar?
soy327
It was explained to me that the guys really like these, they are mostly CO and salt. They have a very nice exfoliating feeling to the skin. Mine were 75% CO, 5% castor oil, 10% avocado oil and 10% safflower oil and I used 50% of the total weght in salt, 2.5lb batch. So they are really hard too. I heated the oven to 170 and left it in for 4 hours and cut warm. So it's really is a different kind of soap. deena
Thank you, I thought they were soap but just wondered what impact and significance salt has on the bar.
