Making a 3 set of different size candles

Recommended Posts

I have seen pictures of 3 different heights of candles that look really nice as a set.. I am getting ready to order some 4045H and molds. For those of you who make a trio set of candles in different sizes, would you mind sharing what size of molds you use? I noticed on Candle Wic's site that they have a 3 x 4.5, 3 x 6.5 and 3 x 9.5 molds. Do you think these sizes would make a good set? This will be my first time making any type of pillar and testing. Thanks.

If you are asking because you want to buy molds I say get a bunch of 3x9 molds. That way you are not limited to what you can do. I have several 3x9 molds. I like it because I can do pairs of candles at once or even trios, or whatever. I can also do the sets with different hieghts. I just measure and pour. You don't HAVE to fill your mold all the way to the top, you know!

Yes, in sets the common sizes for me are 3x3 or 3x4, 3x6, and 3x9
