OK, looking for some scent suggestions (one for the guy and one for the gal or a really good unisex fragrance) for some of the great couples, real or imaginary. If I've missed some of the really good ones (not like Bert & Ernie or Laverne & Shirley ha) feel free to add.

Barbie and Ken:

Fred and Ginger:

Harry and Sally:

Antony and Cleopatra:

Bandit and The Frog:

Bonnie and Clyde:

Superman and Lois Lane:

Romeo and Juliet:

Archie and Edith Bunker:

Prince Charming & Cinderella:

How about Pink and Blue Sugar - I guess that's a pretty obvious one - I personally don't like Blue Sugar but have alot of people that do

Drakkar & White Musk

Adam & Eve

Beauty and the Beast

Bogie & Bacall

Mickey & Minnie

Samson & Delilah

Rhett & Scarlett

Guenivere & Lancelot

I was gonna say Hansel & Gretel but then I realized they were siblings, LOL

Tarzan and Jane - Makes me think of Flickers/Elements Tropical White Musk.

Roy Rodgers and Dale Evans-- hmmm... maybe green cactus and leather with a hint of patchouli and musk thrown in for Trigger.

Samson & Delilah/Antony & Cleopatra - would think that a sandalwood and cedar or frank & myrrh

Rhett & Scarlett - didn't Old Mill carry a Scarlett fragrance? It was something with strawberries in it. Maybe SGS/Tony's still has it. He also makes me think of Midsummer's Night/Drakkar

Romeo & Juliett - they make me think of red roses like Don Juan; maybe a floral blend with red rose, english lavender, and patchouli

Bogie & Bacall - they make me think of a blend of white linen and green irish tweed

Fred & Ginger - make me think of something light and a bit spicy; like ginger peach, vanilla and/or amber

Guinevere & Lancelot - remind me of deep woods scent mixed with fruit and a touch of spice; I would think Moonworks would have something exotic for them (hint - Merlins Forest)

Bonnie & Clyde - make me think of something clean & crisp and citrusy; like sun washed linen or white tea and ginger with a citrus note in it

Barbie & Ken - they make me think of bubblegum. LOL Maybe a fruit blend with something bold like Bay Rum or Peppermint.

Annette Funicello & Frankie - naturally a beachy, breezy or tanning scent mixed with coconut and and tart lime

I think about scents for them.

Awesome Candybee!! I appreciate the scent suggestions like crazy! I could get some of the couples, but I couldn't quite get them matched to scents. I think Southern Gardens may have picked up Swee Scarlett too. I know I need to put what I have to use.

I appreciate the other names as well.

  • 5 months later...

know that this is sorta old-but what a hoot!!! think there is one couple missing though (unless i missed them) Richard & Elizabeth. as in burton and taylor? this was just too funny as my brother and i always had "couple" named pets as children. we went through dozens of ill-fated lizards, ducks, turtles, etc. named for all these famous couples! glad i found this-it made my afternoon!

How about approaching this from another angle - name a FO and attach the couple's names?

Baby Powder or Bedtime Bath(type) - Pebbles & BamBam

Mistletoe - Mr & Mrs Claus

Baked Apple Pie - Aunt Bea & Opie

Dragon's Blood - Cheech & Chong (Thanks IslandGirl!)

Honeysuckle Jasmine - Rhett & Miss Scarlet

Bay Rum - VJ Day Sailor & Nurse

Key Lime - Bogey & Bacall

Monkey Farts - King Kong & Faye

OR --- Reverse it up ---

Pebbles-Bedtime Bath & BamBam-Baby Powder

Mr Claus-anything pine & Mrs Clause-Mistletoe

Aunt Bea-Baked Apple Pie & Opie-Sweetgrass

Cheech-Patchoili & Chong-Drogaon's Blood

Rhett-some sort of mixed floral & Miss Scarlet-Gardenia or Lavender

VJ Day Sailor-Salty Sea Air & The Nurse-Clean Cotton

Bogey-Leather & Bacall-Ed Hardy(type)

King Kong-Monkey Farts & Faye-Vamp Vogue
