Kitn
This is a Pink Sugar scent , I used vanilla stabilizer from BCN to avoid the vanilla turning the soap brown. Edited January 6, 2010 by Kitn

Kitn
Thank you.The BCN stabilizer is one of the best additives going , there would be so many brown soaps with out it , they smell very good but brown lather isn't that appealing .( I know all about brown , I have about 8 bars more to use lol)
Sharon in KY
WOW, that is beautiful... Looks pearly pink, love it. I hate brown soap but love any vanilla soap. I'll have to get some just in case I make another batch in the next year or so. Edited January 6, 2010 by Sharon in KY
Billie
That is an amazing swirl and color!! Pretty pink and delicate. Love that vanilla stabilizer too, half of my first soaps were brown. lol I love a brown marbled and swirled soap, but not every bar.

Scented
Very pretty swirl and pink. How much stabilizer did you end up using?
scrochet
I second what Scented asked, how much did you use? I have been wanting to make pink sugar soap but did not want a brown bar. I use the bcn stabilizer in m&p and it works great. I think i will make some this weekend:yay:. Just like most of the country we will be froze in this weekend.Oh! CareBear
I used BCN's vanilla stabilizer with Peak's Pink Sugar in CP. I got glass shard-like crystals. It wasn't nice at all.ETA: twice Edited January 13, 2010 by CareBear
Kitn
I find that if I add the stabilizer to my oils and stick blend it very well , let it sit while I get my mold ready etc and blend it some more then add my lye , I have no problems , never have had a problem with vanilla stabilizer, ever in 3 bottles worth of batches . I believe the key is mixing it in extremely well .
