evilsprig
I've been using the RRD wicks in palm, and they're pretty good, but I do have trouble getting a full melt pool. For those of you that have used both the RRD's and CSN's ( which I read so much about here), are the CSN's noticeably better? TIA!
soy327
I use CD's Tried CSN's didn't care for the inferno and the don't have any smaller than 9's for dbl, Do they:)Linda
Debbie73
I started out with the rrd's because this is what Peak's suggested. I went thru 5 different wick sizes and nothing would burn right. If I came close to getting the correct size wick, I would get soot and a large flame. I tried the csn wicks and didn't like the large flame and to me the candle burned too fast. Then I tried the cd wicks and never looked back. There are some who do like to use the csn wicks. I think it is preference. You can have a good burning candle using different wicks and there is nothing wrong with that! Deb
evilsprig
Thanks! Have you used the regular CD's or the CDN's?
Debbie73
I use the cd's. I get them from Tennessee Candles, but there are other candle companies that have them, too.

Stella1952
I use CDNs mostly. I use CDs for votives and square braid for molded novelty candles.
tootie04
There is a noticable difference between CD wicks and CDN wicks with palm. I didnt see much difference with soy but a BIG difference with palm.
bugtussle
In palm, 1st I use CSN's and if they will not work, I go to an RRD. I single wick. Carole
Candybee
I use CSNs too and single wick 3 1/2 inch diameter jars. I used a smaller wick size than CS recommended and get a great burn with no visable soot. I didn't care for the large flame but wicking down helped that a lot.I gave CDs a try but didn't get as good a hot throw with them. Also, the container got too hot and I had more visable smoke and soot buildup on the container. So I switched to CSNs for those reasons. Heaven Scent Candles
Hello: I was told to use LX in my palm. It does work but It goes down the middle then pool's under the top leaving a nice hole on top. I poked once I think I may need to poke more. Does anyone know if this is a good wick to use? Thanx for any help.
pcbrook
Lately it seems that the RRDs have been working the best for me.
