These are amazingly beautiful pieces of art. I am just starting to get into carving. Is there a certain kind of wax/mixture that i should use? I use palm and soy for jars but I'm not sure on what kind of parafin to get. Any idea's would be great. Thank you

I was wondering if anyone could help me find a FO that smells like or comes close to Sunwashed Linen from cs. I have a customer who wants to buy clamshells w/this fo and I need to buy some but the shipping is so much:shocked2:. I also need to get a preservative and i cant find one from cs. I would like to get both of them at same place to help w/shipping cost. Can anyone help w/this ?

I am going to try a recipe that calls for honey granules. If I don't have that can I substitute anything in its place? Can reg. honey be used? I am trying to make bath bomb cookies.:smiley2:

Thank you for replying. I think I'm going to get the course one's and try them. Where did you get the pink h's from? I LOVE the idea that there is no shipping cost it helps out a lot. I'm excited to get them and try. I did use Epson and sea salt but I didn't really care for them and they aren't as pretty.

I was looking for salts to buy and I found "Saltworks" web site. I am not sure on what size of the salts I should use. Is there a better benefit from one or the other. Does anyone know what size is the best selling? I like the medium but I don't want to get huge:shocked2: ones that no one will want. Very new to this and just wondering where I should start. :wave:Hi Suzie Thank you . I am going to try to do a Lego. I saw one that was in the shape of one so I thought I'd try I just hope the thing will come out of it. I'm so glad all I have to do to clean is use water. I just make sure they are really dried out. Is this ok?

What about the smell of the witch hazel how do I get rid of that? It stinks so bad that i can't smell the fo*faint* Do they make a scentless one or is there something else to use? I'm going to have to buy the molds on line no one around here sells them. UGH I spent 2hrs running around and how disappointing that NO one has any here*shudder*.

I'm going to try the baking soda that's a great idea thank you. How long should I leave them in the mold before removing?

I have been looking everywhere:read: and i cant find if its ok to use metal molds for the bath bomb. This is my first time trying. I used the metal mold I have and what a mess*faint*. Any help would be great. I was also wondering if there is a site with good prices for the plastic molds? Thank you, Suzan

I am so upset w/myself. Last night I made bath salts for the first time and I was so proud of myself because it came out so pretty and smelled awesome. I then started to put my fo away and write down all info on bottle and noticed I used fo that said not for the body:embarasse UGH. Well I don't really want to throw it away cause I worked so hard at it and it came out so nice. Can I use it for anything else? It is also a milk bath and I read:read: that it could go bad and also the $. Can anyone give me an idea what to use it for and will it go bad? Thank you so much. Suzan

Thank u both for helping me figure this out. I am going to do it in ml's and im going to get a scale that goes teeny weeny. I'm also going to order some of the ml droppers too. I never thought of the pyrex. I guess my brain was so shot from frustration i just gave up. I'm going to try when I get scale n droppers. I think I may have it a little better. Thank you for helping me feel more confident.

Let me start by saving I am on the verge of crying trying to figure this out. I feel so stupid not being able to do this. :embarasse I've looked at MANY post's and site's and still can't figure it out. If anyone can help a math illiterate that needs very basic instructions I would be so thankful. I bought some Natural Lip balm base from (Company E.) and it says to use 1-3% of flavor oil. I don't want it to be too much or to little so I thought I would use 2%. I am not good in math and I don't think I ever will. I just want to make a little batch about 10 maybe. I did take .15 x 10 (amt. in a tube) and got 1.5. But the 2% I think is .03? Am I even close to trying to figure it out? I don't even know if I'm doing it right. I don't have a scale that goes that far so would I do drop tsp etc.? Pls help girl w/headache.:embarasse

I am starting out making lip balm and I was looking at some sites for tubes n other things needed. If I order the T-perf. label how do you print on it? Is there a popular site that people like to go to for their tubes/labels. I looked on elemen and they seem ok but I don't know of any others. Any info would be great about lip balm. I was wondering if I use 2 status jars that are 3" in diameter but one different height can they take the same wick? I probably am not explaining this right so here are the jars. 4.5 oz status 12 oz status. Both are 3" in diameter. Maybe I am just over thinking this:rolleyes2. Any help would be great. Or maybe I am just loosing it w/age and all.

Does anyone get a better burn out of a smaller # wick? ex: 3x3 feather palm candle w/one having a CSN 14 and one with CSN 12. It seems like the one w/the CSN 12 is doing better than the CSN 14. They both have burned the same amt. of time w/no f.o or dye. It's weird how it's burning:shocked2:. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.
