TexasBrat
I made a batch of soap yesterday for the first time in about 10 months and it turned out great. The soap fairie must have been at someone else's house. My dd helped me with this batch, she helped measure the oils and added the colorant and I handled all the lye parts of the job. She had fun and wants to make more soap today. I homeschool her now so we included this in school for science. lolI also discovered something new to use to cover my mold with while it's put to bed. I used a 12 pack soda box to cover it with and then added my blanket. It fit perfectly and was easy to transport. Now on to the pics, not the prettiest of soaps but these are for us to use so I use the ole' plastic bag liner trick which leaves creases and wrinkles but that's all right. It's scented Coconut Lime Verbena and we used pop colors.

sudsnwicks
Nice soap! I believe this does count as science project. Because I remember learning to take measurements during science class many years ago in school.
