beauloser
It's a long story, but after making 8 of these pillars and 70 votives for an order, the order was never picked up or paid for, so I am trying to find something to do with all these baby powder scented(yellow and green), pink sugar(pink), and lavendar(purple) astorlite G candles...the basket includes 1 baby blanket, 1 onsie, and 1 infant sleeper. kimscandles
Those are beautiful candles. Sorry to hear the person never paid or picked them up. They are missing out.

Mtngrl
LOVE palm waxes! & your gift basket looks great. Somebody sure is effed up for placing a custom order & then backing out on the deal. Have you considered getting 1/2 down next time? Have you thought about putting them (the candles) or the entire gift basket up for sale on ebay? You did a great job on them! Alohagirl
Very nice. Maybe you'll be invited to a babyshower soon, or you could donate it to a church auction.
sharyl55
They are lovely. Do you have a baby store nearby? I'd take them in there and see if they would buy them or take them on consignment.
AnitaG
What pretty candles. Someone will want them
andrealh1975
That is very nice! Are you doing any shows in the near future? Put the items on sale or something and sell them there. Shucks, if I hadn't already gotten a babyshower gift for someone I'd buy them!!!
celicagtca
Those are really pretty. Never used the "G" but now you have me thinking. Love the texture. I've been stiffed a few times and I usually hold these items till I have an open house and 9 times out of 10, they sell. You'll have no problem offloading those. Why not add a few more items like, soothers, face cloths, little socks, bath salts, New Mom magazine, etc., put some nice labels on those, basket bag it and market it to your local hospital gift shop. This may work out to your benefit. Could lead to more orders.
beauloser
thanks all...what great ideas for getting rid of these...I buy all the little extras from the thrift stores, so I will be searching for more things to add to the basket...my doctors wife runs a christian organization to help pregnant teens. I bet she could use the basket for a raffle or something.
Fern
That sure is a lovely basket. So sorry to hear that the customer didn't come through for you. In time I'm sure someone will buy it.
Donita
Sorry you didn't get paid.....but the candles are lovely. Whoever it was missed out on some very very nice candles. Donita
Donna-Do
Those are beautiful candles! Along with everyone else, sorry you got stiffed. That's one of those lessons we learn though. Never even start on an order till it's paid for up front.
KMommy
Sorry that you didn't get paid. Like everyone else I think they are beautiful candles and I don't think you will have any problems selling them. I think the colors would also look nice with Easter items in a basket. SatinDucky
Those candles are just beautiful! And so fitting for baby colors. Too bad about the order, but as cute as the baskets are, you shouldn't have any trouble selling them
