Dee
Here is one of the first rustics I did a loooong time ago so excuse the picture. It was made with 1343 and alot of steric (I think around 4 or 5 tbsp pp) no FO. Haven't made them this way since (without FO) then. Hope the old picture shows up ok. Kaybee23
Beautiful! Was thinking of doing a color like that this weekend, just got in some new Juniper Breeze and was thinking of doing a pillar in it.
Alohagirl
Thanks, Dee. Now I see what you mean. I love that kind of rustic! Unfortunately, whenever I try it without oil, I just get a washboard texture and no frost.BTW, great candles AND photo!! :smiley2:

Dee
Thanks everyone. Am sure I posted these or ones like them about two years ago. Still have them in my candle closet. Think I may try some again in Christmas colors (not overly pleased with some of the newer things I've tried lately). Too bad I didn't take very good notes back then. I know I used a little bit of an aqua color block to get the colors. One of the local suppliers here makes its own color blocks and the colors are great. The best and truest colors I've tried. First reds I haven't had to really play around with.Good to have a local supplier eh, Tucker.

Dee
Ha, just melted some wax to try again and take notes this time, but sometimes I really suffer from "old timers" so I hope it goes well:D
