Mostly Lurkin Posted March 8, 2007 Share Posted March 8, 2007 Ok - well here's hoping I don't incur the wrath of Grumpy, I hope these pics won't be too small :tiptoe: .The 1st one is my CandleTech inspired salt bar - Apples n Oranges (comparing my soap 'porn' to others, lol)The 2nd I did when I was entirely TOO sleep deprived and went a bit overboard with the colors :embarasse - but, at least I know I 'can' swirl, I just can't color coordinate! Mostly Lurkin Posted March 8, 2007 Author Share Posted March 8, 2007 I use silicone baking molds whenever possible. No muss - no fuss, no 'treating' the molds either. It has kept the temper tantrums to a minimum .These happen to be http://www.wilton.com/store/site/product.cfm?id=CB18486C-423B-522D-FA575B148BFA15B4&fid=CB1CD0B4-423B-522D-F4B6A466F9C6686D - got mine at Michaels, **heh, heh - had a coupon!**These molds withstand everything and go right back to looking like they did the day I bought em. Just got some Hershey molds shaped like Hershey kisses - can't wait to try them out!ETA - I think they look like sponges cuz they are still pretty fresh & haven't been cleaned up yet.
