Michi
:whoohoo: Those are sooo cool!! I've seen them before but couldn't figure out the instructions. How did you make those? It looks like you used clear chunks but how did you get the "gems" what did you use for a mold? Are they scented? I think those would sell really well. skg
The gems are clear M&P little chunks mixed with white pearl mica... I used plastic glasses to pour them into, you cant tell from the pictures but there are at least 10 layers in each "gem" lol, but they are soo fun to make, the more it looks like a screw up as your pouring, the better it turns out. They are all scented L 'Air du Temps type.

SoapInTheCity
Wouldn't they be a hit at a kids party! Especially for a pirate, spiderman (green kryptonite), or pink one for a princess party!!!!!!! These are sooo cool!

tamtam
WOW~!! Those are awesome! I have been wanting to try this for a long time, I found a great tutorial somewhere, I'll have to dig it out again. I bought lots of mica in a co-op mainly to try these. The only problem is how to wrap them!!I don't have shrink wrap so I need to figure out an alternative, maybe little cello bags.
lindsaycb
Wrap them in little velvet jewlery bags. Toss in a few of the little gem chunks as added spillage out of the pouch. Very very cute!
CC on Maui
Those are interesting. I wonder if you could use some slightly-crinkled heavy-duty aluminum foil as a mold?

skg
Very COOL!!I've seen them too, I wondered how easy they'd be to wash w/ ?? You did a great job The blue, yellow, and purple are all about 4oz. and fit in your hand perfect, the green are 6oz +, a little big - I should cut them down. I never thought of aluminum foil - good idea! I just gave the plastic cup a squeeze every now and then to "kinda" mix the layers. Thanks Everyone!
