  1. That's too funny. Way too funny. What a grinning fool I am right now!
  2. mac paper has something similar in frosted.
  3. Thanks, I got it, I think as long as the top of the candle is the bottom of the mold!
  4. I haven't been keeping up with the candles so I wouldn't recognize blisters from fingernails but I do have to say that is a very beautiful candle irregardless of it's perceived hand like impairments.
  5. Ok, I went back to look again. I wanted to say the Sugar Cookie was such an elegant take on a traditional country theme. It really elevated the scent from checkered table cloth to subdued sophistication. There. Said what I was feeling.
  6. Oh my! I started with candles and switched to b&b but from those I feel challenged to return to candles! I love the cowboy. How it looks like barbed wire. Really captured that image for me! And, dang that amber's wicked wicking issue. That is just one beautiful candle. How did you do that! And, there was another one I wanted to comment on...but I can't figure out how to go back w/out c and pasting this. Needless to say, I am so in admiration!:highfive:
  7. The longer they cure, the lighter they will turn. If you keep the temps as cool as possible, the color will be lighter...ice bath, prevent gel. I have never tried to keep milk soaps white but I wonder if TD would positively affect color.
  8. I started with the Lite, then upgraded. I love it for the inventory running totals. And the cost/item. If I had one complaint, it would be the lack of fatty acid profiles on soapcalc. You can get around it by understanding the link to bar:fa characteristics. But when your experience doesn't support those ratios, it makes it harder to customize the formula. But, that is just one component. And the rest of the program so much makes up for it!
  9. Very interesting! Have used salt, but never citric acid. As a chelating agent, it would be much more environmentally friendly than EDTA. Will have to give it a try.:highfive:
  10. They're beautiful! And I'm really envious of all those crisp cut angles! You are a beveling pro!
  11. Looks wonderful! I'll have to try that next time I order. I'm always looking for great men scents.
  12. It looks great. Great job coordinating the colors!
  13. Well, I've never tried Daystar. No reason to now. I haven't tried FOH either. But will check them out. A supplier who steps above and beyond for the customer is a great one to have.
  14. I love SW's White Peach. But, I've never used it in candles.
  15. I love OM's Bacci de Mille! It is a true honey. I've got SW's tupelo honey which is also great, but OM's is truer. A lot of honeys smell like baby powder. Not Om's!
  16. I just ordered one. I'm so excited!
  17. It must contain goggles for the parent and child. Along with gloves. Unless that's an extra that you're supposed to buy/have on hand. Definitely seems like a major accident/law suit waiting to happen. I'm sure Target is not aware of lye and it's inherent dangers.
  18. That's good to know. I've got a bunch and haven't experimented yet. It'd be not very good if the image fades in a few months. Great favors, btw.
  19. What a great photo! The soap looks great. Very creamy!
  20. Wow! That's some beautiful soap. I like how it changed better!
  21. Beautiful. I too am amazed by the colors. So subtle and soft.
  22. Those are really pretty. Love the delicate swirls of un scented white.
