Carriegsxr6
My secret buddy sent me some plastic 18hr votive cups. I used them for the first time today and WOW. They sure do make the votives turn out real shiny. Shiner then the usual metal 15hr votive cups I always use. Scented Catus Patch on bottom and Sunny Citrus on top. Thanks Secret Buddy

diamondgirl_26
They look awesome Carrie. Are they larger than the typical votive? If so what kind of holder do you use? I really like those.
Catherine
I like your choice of colors. I've yet to try soy, but I sure like the look of your votives.
Mtngrl
Do you know what kind of plastic from which those votives molds are made? If they're polycarbonates, I'm pretty sure that using FOs will ruin the surface of the plastic ... make it opaque, but not sure if that would have an impact on shine. I think the colors you have are perfect for the FOs. The more soy candles I see, the more I want to try soy.

Henryk
If you have them, you may want to try the plastic 3 oz. solo cups (it works because you can pour soy cool). They gives almost a similar effect with soy but not as perfect. I use the cups to harden up left over wax to get it out of my pots. (The paper ones give you a rustic look btw).
