  1. Yes, Yes, I agree with Candlefreak. This looks so much better! Great job.
  2. Years ago I started with MP. You can get really creative using it, but then I tried CP and WoW! I still keep MP around to do with kids. They have a lot of fun making there own soaps.
  3. I make all my molds! We have scrap wood that I have used and it works great. My slabs are only 12 bars, if I went bigger I think I would then have a problem with cutting them.
  4. KSBELL! I NEED your recipe for that sugar scrub....My face HAS to HAVE MORE! I agree with Moochelle!!! I also didn't get your recipe in the swap and would love to try it! Thanks!
  5. What about using the deform tool in PSP. I have used it before, but haven't tried to curve an image. Hmmm.... think I will have to play with it and see if it can be done.
  6. I like #2 but for me the font is hard to read... Not sure if it is the fill or what.
  7. You can not return an e-mail within 2 days. You can not return a phone call within 2 days. You can not get a order out within a reasonable amount of time. I am so tired of some of these businesses that show lack of respect for my business. If you can't return an e-mail or a phone call.... get HELP. If you can't afford help then infom on your website your business ethics. Be honest about the turn around time. If you are out of stock, post it on the site. Don't charge me and two weeks later say you are waiting for it to come in. I can go on and on about this. I am just so frustrated. Why don't they realize if you don't have customers you don't have a business. From now on I will try to buy local and if I need a certain item I will personally talk to the company and see what the turn around is. If I call and can't get a live person I will not order from them. I vow from now on I will not let a supplier do this to me again. My customers are my first priority!!!! Just needed to VENT!!!!!!!!!
  8. This is interesting. I will be watching this thread with out a doubt. Thanks Elizabeth for bringing it up.
  9. I really like them. Love the colors and your draping!! Great job!:smiley2:
  10. I agree with everyone else. The candle is stunning and they will love it. I too think the flowers look nice with the candle.
  11. I think the color looks good. Nice swirl too.
  12. They look great. The SweetPea swirl on the right looks like a tulip to me.
  13. Thanks and yes, I know. I did some research myself to find out who it belongs to. After seeing what went on with another situation. I won't be using these at all. Decided everything I make will be totally mine 100 percent.
  14. Wow! I adore your work. You really know what colors to put together. Beautiful candles as always.
  15. Yes, they are bath bombs in the tulle. I used foil that I had from when I use to make candy. MaryinCary... yes that is a drape candle. I love making them. I have posted some pictures of them in the candle gallery.
  16. Customer called last night asking to pick up a gift set for her daughters counselor. Since it was such last minute, this is what I through together. Didn't get a picture of it in the gift box, she got here to soon today. The soap box I am showing the front and back.
  17. Welcome to the addiction! Now you will end up with more soap then you know what to do with. :smiley2: Your soap looks great.
  18. I agree, your candles are very elegant! I love the picture with all the hurricanes lit. Great Photography, wish I could do that.
  19. LOL... I know they are misspelled, just trying something different. They probably won't be the scent names anyway. Going to come up with some crazy names.
  20. Thanks for all the comments. I am racking my brain on how I want all my product to look. I know packaging is key and trying hard to get it. I thought I put the weight on it, THANK YOU for seeing that!!! Linda
  21. What do you think about this? I am trying to get a line going for the younger crowd. Am I going to far? I'm really tired so I can't decide for myself whether I like it or not. I will have all other info on the back, but then again I am also thinking of doing a wrap around label. Oh, I was thinking the Body spray I would do the same thing. Just change product name.
  22. Here are the labels I did for my balm. Still working on the round ones. I have the labels in all different colors to match the flavor. I am not going to use Whacky Grape etc.... I have someone who is going to come up with different names for me. Hoping these will attract the younger crowd. What do you think? These will go on the tubes. Linda Not sure where I should have posted these.:embarasse
  23. I am still learning, but when I first started I would pretty much end up pouring at thick thick trace lik you did. I would pound the mold on the kitchen floor to get some of the air bubbles out. Still ended up with a few. Now I am pouring at a thinner trace and I just love the smoothness of it. Still pound the mold to release the air bubbles. HTH
