Mnhorsemom
For those that do goatsmilk cp what types of FOs do you use? I have only done gm once and used OMH. Would it be wierd to have a gm soap that smells like....CLV or Satsuma guava? TIA
Scent Cellar
I usually scent mine with e/o's but mulling over doing the next one in Lovespell .. I think you can use any f/o that you like.
Meridith
I do gm soaps and will use pretty much any scent in it. If you get too anxious and your soap curdles, that smell will cure out and you will be able to smell the FO.
Crafty1_AJ
I scent mine with a sweet honeyish scent.
ChrisR
I use fresh goat's milk for 100% of my liquid in all my CP soaps and use whatever FO or EO I want. You don't smell the milk, so any scent will work!!
tootie04
I just made some with warm Vanilla Sugar FO, traced fast but oh boy is it pretty!!Patricia
dcroome2005
Not sure about CP , but that is all I use as of right now in MP and every scent is working well. Except for Best Friends and Warm Vanilla Sugar is turning the colors
cmille3
My feeling is that as long as you're getting the benefits of a nice, gentle goat's milk soap, the fragrance doesn't matter.
quietgirl2004
I dont scent mine, because most of my customers for goats milk have skin problems so I leave as natural as possible
Scent Cellar
Quiet Girl... do you add tea tree oil in your goatsmilk soap for those that have skin problems?? I have found a real selling niche by doing that.
jenniejr
Quiet Girl ~ I do the same thing for my Oatmeal soap. I also do my Goats milk both ways. Plain for those w/ skin problems and scented for those who just love the benefits of a creamy goats milk bar.As far as what FO's to use ......... I use anything that strikes my fancy. Jcandleattic
I do as most here. Most all of my soaps I use fresh/frozen GM for 100% of the liquid, I use any scent I happen to want to make at that time.
Crafty1_AJ
I do 100% liquid goat's milk soap for my liquid portion too. And I might add that the supplier of the scent I use for my GM soap is discontinuing. Sure hope my customers don't wig out on me when I replace it with something else. My luck, they're already married to it.
