denetteb
I am just wondering what you all use when you are adding vanilla to your scent blends. Do you use a straight vanilla like CS Very Vanilla, or a vanilla variation like DS Marshmallow or AHRE Toasted Marshmallow, or do you use a vanilla bakery scent like Birthday Cake or Sugar Cookie? Do you find that some vanillas are better for blending than others? What do you like to use? Do tell!
franu61
I use CS very vanilla for blending and it works great, not too overpowering but doesn't disappear either. I have RE toasted marshmallow but so far only used it straight up, no blends.
Candybee
I really like using CS Vanilla Lace or French Vanilla for a vanilla mixer. Depends on what I am mixing. Now if I really want an ultra sweet vanilla bakery note in my blend then I use either Creme Brulee or Buttercream Frosting. For example I love mixing Peaks Pure Peppermint with CS Buttercream for a Peppermint Cream.Or Pure Peppermint, Cinnamon, and a touch of French Vanilla for Candy Cane. Hmmmm... I should try mixing up some buttermints... any ideas for that? Edited July 17, 2015 by Candybee
ChrisR
I've always used and love Candle Cocoon's Vanilla Voodoo!
bfroberts
I like CS Very Vanilla. If also sometimes use TCS's Buttercream if I'm doing a bakery scent.
