nayarx8
okay guys, i need HONEST opinions. what do you think?
Bev
I like the feathering, I like the color, I do not like the line at the bottom of the candle. Other than the line, I think it's beautiful!
tlc26
ditto! the pour line really takes away from the beauty of the candle
nayarx8
anyway to fix it?
SatinDucky
I agree. Yup, you can fix it by repouring it
nayarx8
just stick the whole thing in a melting pot and re-melt it?
kate573
wow..sorry about the line but once you overcome that it is a great looking candle........Looking to see more in the future.....Got to love that color......
dcroome2005
Now see, most people dont like the line, but I do :-) I am one of the weird ones LOL Not that I practice making lines for my customers, but I like it on this one.. Just me though.. LOVEEEEEEEEEE the coloring Christina
nayarx8
see, my fiancee thought i should put MORE lines in. i ended up re-melting the whole thing.
Corence
Most of the time I don't like any lines, but on this one...it works. I like it, good job.
Trish
I agree, the repour line is not appealing to me. Make sure you're filling the wax all the way to the top of the mold, or at least when you do your repour, to only pour enough to hit the edge and that will help minimize the line!BTW, love the wax! I want to play with some palm wax!!!
sharyl55
Be sure to post a picture of the new one. Love the color and feathering.

Luvcandletarts2
I think it looks GREAT! I even like the pour line, makes it unique.
Purple Lilac
I think it is beautiful and the line gives it character - and who knows beside the maker it wasn't made that way.
BruceCarvesWax
okay guys, i need HONEST opinions. what do you think? I really dont mind the line..... as candle makers we KNOW its not suppose to be there, but as a customer, its kinda cool and something you dont see all the time. Next time you dont have to melt it down, just use a saw and cut that sucker down a little. Bruce
Brat
I wonder how the bottom would look dipped in plain white paraffin?
nayarx8
ok, here is the re-melt. im not sure what i think of it anymore!

nayarx8
its MCSOY's Lavender Fields. i personally dont like lavender; but my customers sure do!
itsmejeffd
see, my fiancee thought i should put MORE lines in. i ended up re-melting the whole thing.I have to agree with your fiancee. I like the line and I think it would look very interesting with more. Instead of keeping the lines parallel though, I think it would look great if they were slanted randomly back and forth. Mozzie
Hi, I think that you did the right thing by remelting and pouring again - it looks great. Personally, I would probably have just tried to melt the bottom bit off (and had a really short candle) or just used it at home with the intention to watch my repours in future. Love the wax and the colour is gorgeous.
Brenda
I thought your candle was beautiful before and after! Love the color and the texture - including the pour line in your original photo! I thought it lent interest.
dcroome2005
They are both gorgeous, but still like the 1st oneChristina
Bev
I think your repour turned out great. It's a really pretty candle and I just love the feathering effect from the palm wax. Good job!
