guppygirl Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Got all the volunteers I can handle now - Thanks for all the responses!Well, not getting much coffee smell coming through - dernit! Honestly I think I can smell the cocoa powder (I did mention that I went a little over board right?!) It's got a great creamy lather and my hands feel wonderful (could be that I've been washing my hands with soap from the swap all day though)... After much reading, I finally threw together a recipe for my coffee butter.RBO 40%Coconut 20%Coffee Butter 20%Cocoa Butter 10%Shea Butter 5%Castor Oil 5%added 1T kaolin to 3lb batch at light traceswirled with cocoa powder... got a little carried away with the swirl - I wasn't looking for it to be this dark, but I still like it Just unmolded it. Will post new pics after I cut later. Here they are: Quote

In fact they kind of have a bitter undertone now that they're cut, but I'm sure they'll change over the next few weeks. I'll keep ya posted. You are nothing but a tease! LOL Yup, that's me! Quote
