lauralea
I have been experimenting with lotion bars and was wondering if anyone used dimethicone or cyclomethicone (not sure if I spelled it right) in theirs to cut the greasiness. Have used it in dry oil body sprays, and was thinking it may work nicely in lotion bars also.

TallTayl
Btms seems to help reduce/eliminate any greasy feel in mine. A wee bit of IPM may help too, depending on your choice of oils and butters and emulsifier.

SuzyK
I don't use anything to cut down the greasiness. I played around with the percentages of my ingredients and got it the way I like it. My customers are loving my solid lotion.
CareBear
I use a touch of isopropyl myristate (IPM). Fractionated coconut oil works pretty well also.
