  1. GUYS!!! Use 1 ml vanilla stabilizer per ml of fragrance with vanillin in it...it thins out the mix a bit, so extra cream of tartar helps Grab the one for CP soap from WSP! I hope this helps! Much love my fellows!
  2. Have any of you tried using a different colored, or darker colored insert? I did this by using a 60 mm Christmas bulb, and then packing another layer around it (lighter colored, with a surfactant added) in a 70 mm Christmas bulb...I'm going to test it today...my biggest fear is, I'm going at too fast a pace, and won't make any $ due to all the little "extras" But it's so much fun!!
  3. I just started this about 3 months ago, making bombs, bubble bars, and bath melts...I researched alot of my scents, and SO many of them have vanillin in them. Even 1% is enough to get the browning effect. I'm really stumped!
  4. Hahahaha...sweet s***...I was looking around, and stumbled on a few recipes where titanium dioxide is used...? Think that would work?
  5. I thought the same thing...it's gotta be the molds...but, I watched "Lush, how it's made" and they're using these little this plastic throw away molds! You might be right with the citric...hmmmm....
  6. What is your base butter? I'm looking for the right emulsifier as well...my searching has given me migraines (thank God for eo's on pulse points lol)
  7. Have any of you guys or gals had them float and spin? My bombs are great (I use all different sizes, I do have the stainless steel ones) but I'm obsessed with getting them to do that, just for fun!!! Bombs away!!!
  8. I love the bombs I make, and so do my customers, but I'd LOVE to crack the code on the Lush one's, just for fun! Mine have a super long imo (over 4 minutes and then some)...and I've noticed that lush's sometimes disappear in under a minute. I'm just so curious!! Anyone?
  9. I'm having the SAME problem with my bubble bars!!! Have you found any answers? I was asking on the teach soap forum...but came up empty Let's see who can figure it out and we'll share!!
  10. I've come to the conclusion that my strawberry Shortcake bubble bars are turning brown due to the vanilla..HOWEVER. .the first batch, when I used gel food coloring, did NOT. When I sprung for the BB LaBomb colorants, they're totally brown! 2 batches ruined! Does anyone know how I can remedy this situation? Thanks so much!!
